Some people!!!! - Boy Jox will give her a complex?!

Man...

TT set back a few steps thanks to a mouthy relo..

Roar was doing waaaaaaaaaay better at tt after taking her in and buying her (at her choice, well, actually, insistance!) Diego Jocks. - She loves him and has been trying really hard to make sure he does not get wet

Till her relo said in front of her, OMG She will grow up with a complex, or worse, a PENIS!

Roar being the person she is, soaked it all in.. Now she refuses to wear Undies cause she, In her words, "No want complex or penis"

She was soooooooooooooo Excited to show off that she was a "big girl in undies now" and now seems to think it is something to be ashamed of - something bad..

What the Hell was she thinking!!!!!!

How can I fix it? Have tried explaining in a few ways but she just shuts down and starts screaming "NO PENIS! NO COMPLEX!" - It's heartbreaking..

So Blimmin Angry at the person who started it too..

Any help appreciated..

Oh dear...

Gosh I would be blardy annoyed at your relo! TT is so hard, and when you find something that helps make it easier, you just stick to it.

Have no advice, hopefully someone comes along to help you out.

I haven't even hit the tt stage yet so I can't really offer advice.. I just wanted to say what a rude relative !

I truly hope you find something to get your DD back on track.

Perhaps you wash them with her watching or something and say something like 'now they are washed they are all better' ?

Hmm what if you bought the traing pants that are plain from Best and less and got a diego iron on patch to put on them? Try for a hot pink pair or something to make them entirely different

N had an accident at daycare and he was sent home with the cutest pink undies...he loved them

i would persist with her and keep telling her that girls can't grow penises, that the relo was just being silly. Maybe tell her that she is so lucky to have Diego undies, that they are too small for you and you would love to wear them. What ever works for her....my kids are easy to trick

I have been telling Roar that R was being silly and that it's impossible to grow a penis or get a complex! but she say's "R is always right Mummy, she my best friend.."

I wish people realised the impact stupid little jokes like that can have on Little people. Especially Jokes from Relo's that are seen as the "Bee's Knee's"

you could try putting them on, straining and then looking sad 'awww, it won't fit mummy. i LOVE Diego, you are so lucky to be able to wear these'. my kids would lap it up. best of luck hun.

I'd be smacking the relo and telling them to keep their mouth shut in future. Especially when absolute crap comes out of it like that!!!!

The only reason children get complexes is because of stupid, thoughtless comments from silly adults.

I hope you can get things back on track.

Girls can't grow penises and kids wouldn't get complexes if some people would learn to shut up.

em, this is going to sound crazy....as she is so spongy, talk to her about how you cant grow a penis and complexes come from other peoples stupidity. Get this relative and tell them to come over and tell roar that they were being VERY silly and saying silly things and they were joking.

I would be FUMING!!!

I dont even like when BIL tells his GF's 5yr old son "crying like a little girl again???"
