    Hi,
I am currently at day 7 post embryo transfer. My hubby and I both agreed that e wouldn't doing any HPT, but I am starting to struggle with the 2ww. After recently joining bub hub I am surprised how many do the hpt before the bt, but I am now keen to, have many of you had positive hpt by day 7/8 post transfer?
My bt is on Tuesday, but I don't think I can even wait until then!

Hi ladies not sure if you've read this article - http://www.sharedjourney.com/articles/3vs5.html

it was in an earlier thread on here. I found this very useful and would like to only use 5 days transfers for my IVF now. I just wonder if my FS suggests a 3 how well is he gonna listen to me saying no i want a 5 day transfer???

I believe the 3 day transfer could be a cop out - if a cycle never goes to transfer then is it cancelled and do you get some of your fees back?

Our FS only deals with 3 day transfers. She is well trained and up to date with her knowledge and with the BFP's that come out from our clinic, something must be working. Interesting transcript but it seemed to 'scripted' for my liking.

I think the whole 5 day vs 3 day probably depends on your individual circumstance. I'm with genea and they do 5 day transfers as standard. My fs said that if u have good egg quality and the embryos are developing well, she always does 5 day because then you weed out the ones that would have stopped on their own naturally and they are also more robust to freeze.

Other drs think you should get then back in as soon as possible. Personally, I'd still always go with a 5 day especially if you have a lot of embryos to choose from. But every circumstance is difference.

Im 2dpt5db and sooo nervous as it took us 3 cycles to get to collection phase. 1st transfer ended in a BFN and now on a frosty. Im sooo scared this is going to be BFN again.
