needing help finding a hospital and ob/gyn

Hi
I am new to Sydney, just moved to the northern beaches area.
I am looking for recommendations for an ob and a maternity hospital.
This will be my second child but the first to be born in Australia.
I have private health, and this is a fairly straight forward pregnancy so far. I am looking for a caring and gentle ob and a clean up-to-date hospital.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you end up finding a good ob/gyn & hospital on the Northern Beaches? I'm currently in Perth and will be moving to Avalon in early October. I need to find a good Ob/Gyn & hospital ASAP. Thanks for your time AJoy

Hey Girls,
I live in Avalon and although i went through public system at Mona Vale last time i am looking for Dr for second time round(im only 4weeks so treading carefully) Dr Jollo is meant to be amazing i think thats how his name is spelt, he is in Mona Vale(i think) I know the Sans is fantastic and The Mater at Crows nest is wonderful, most private hospitals are great though, Royal North Shore Private is meant to be good too!

Hi, I am also on the hunt for a good OB. My first pregnancy was through the public system with midwives & it was great. This time we are in Dee Why & with so many mixed reviews about Manly I am thinking to go private. The Mater looks great, I located a OB in Dee Why Dr Gayed, anyone with feedback would be great, thanks
