    Hi girls

I know I haven't been posting...have just been trying to get on with things and shift focus from TTC and the disappointment of month after month of BFN.
I have been keeping up with you all though!!

Well AF was due today, but for the first time in the last 6 months we've been trying, I've felt great with zero PMS! Gotta love that! Anyhoo...
I decided to test and wouldn't you know it, 2 little pink lines appeared in about 2 secs flat! I'm gobsmacked! I'm absolutely thrilled that we've managed to get pregnant after the ectopic and losing my left tube and really couldn't be happier, but DP and I are just going to see what happens and not look too far into the future (we all know how things can change in an instant).

    I hope everyone's doing ok!!
    to all.

AJ: Congratulations girl! That's fantastic news. Hope this one is a sticky bub for you and you have a smooth, happy 9 months.

AFM: On CD18 for me so i'm still plodding along. Haven't been feeling too well since monday. Have been feeling , tired, lathargic and my fingers and feet are really swollen. It looks like i've got chipolatas for fingers. I took my BP and BSL and all were good so not too sure what's going on there. My mum, God love her said that I might be PG. I wish. Unfortunately you can't get UTD just by wishing. If it were true, i'd have a soccer team right now. But timing is everything and it's not on our side so there is no chance in hell that i'm UTD.

DH and I have decided that when I get down to a BMI of 35, we're just going to go straight to IVF. Why pi$$ fart around with waiting. I've been waiting for 4 years, i'm done with it. Besides, if DH still isn't home when i'm laying an egg what's the point of TTC naturally? May as well bit the bullet and just go for it. I've read about it and I know it's definitely not going to be easy, but we've been wanting/waiting for our baby for so long and with me getting older, we can't put it off anymore. I really do hope that this year is our year.

hopefulandwaiting best of luck when you do test. I will keep my for you.

AJGirl08Congrates on your positive, I am sure that you will have a non-eventful 9 months.

Min1111 Sorry you find your self here. Here is hoping that you get another soon and that it will be a sticky one.

3PLUS1equals4s there. How are you going, any news?

Cherished How are you? Hope you are feeling better then you were before.

mumtoangelbaby Sorry you have also had a loss. I hope that your stay is a short one.

matalee glad you enjoyed Bali. When do you get your results back from the test they did?

Hopefulmum2b How have you been? Has your DH work schedule changed yet? I hope you are able to have him there when you are laying that egg next time. Well best of luck that you are able to shift the weight quickly and that the IVF will get you UTD before you know it (if you are not already). are you sure you didn't get your dates wrong or you body might have waited because you definitely sound like you are with child. I will hope you are until I hear other wise.

    How was everyones Christmas/New Year?

AFM well I saw my GP and he sent me for a blood test to make sure that I am in fact ovulating and the results came back that I am (I don't know if I believe that for every month but I can't really fight them). He (the GP) sent me to see a specialist OBGYN to see if he could help us. the OBGYN has basically said that he is not interested in seeing us as he doesn't think there is anything that he can do for us and that there is no point in us going to a FS or doing IVF because he doesn’t think we need that. He has decided to redo some test that we have already done and he has prescribed me Clomid for the next 3 cycles. I hope that it means that I will get UTD within those cycles because I am seriously just about ready to scream at the next person that announces they are pregnant that it is not fair that it is my turn next no one else is allowed (not on here but for the people that are around me in my life). Well today should have been my little ones 1st birthday. My DH and I have lit a candle for her. Well I am currently on CD2. and I am hoping that at the end of this cycle I will be seeing two little lines instead of just one because I am not sure how much longer I can stand seeing a single line.

(I had this whole post typed out and then my computer crashed before it could post grr)

hi everyone well its great to see so many of you back for an update and congrats to all the new bfpers what wonderful news i hope the babydust gets sprinkled on us all , it does look like a trend has started.
afm im currently on cd2 as af arrived on cd29 2 days early for me no symptoms no warning and early . she has now gone and my temps have gone back up as they hit a low for 2 days and then im asuming af has arrived. if my temps stay up il will do a test but i did have sore bbs but not so sore now very confused. i have been doing acupunture throughout this cycle and have an appointment tomorrow as i have decided not to do another round of clomid as i have done quite a few since the m/c and i think i should give my body a rest from it. we will continue to ttc ala natural . its a tough choice as i conceived my last baby on clomid only to end in m/c. i have alot of confidence in my acupunturist as she has studied and taught herbal medicine in china and being chinese im in good hands with her skills and knowledge. im keeping everything crossed as i approach ovulation good luck everyone on your journeys i will keep you all posted .

JAZZ: I've been doing well hun thanks for asking. And how have you been?

DH's roster hasn't changed yet. Should be in the next couple of weeks. We hope that this change coincides with me laying an egg seeing as he'll be home hopefully 2-3 days before i'm due to O.

The weight is slowly coming off. Averaging anywhere between 200- 900gms/week which isn't too bad. Better a loss than a gain I say.

I doubt that i'm already with child. I got some thick CM 2 days after DH left, so I think i'm out this month. But deep down inside i'm hoping that you're right. Would be nice to have some great news to share after trying so hard for so long. It's been 4 years so I think I deserve that. I will definitely keep you posted.

I can't believe that your OBGYN was such a prat! Fancy saying to you that he can't help you. What's up with that? And for saying that he won't send you to a FS because he thinks you don't need it!? You wouldn't be seeing him otherwise. Some Dr's should be in the profession that they're in. They have no people skills. I like it when they are up front and don't faff about, but saying that point blank is just plain rude. Maybe you should go get a second opinion and see someone else who will treat you properly and not like a farm animal.

I'm with you on the "i'm going to scream if someone tells me they're UTD". It really isn't fair. I've been waining 4 years for this and all I get is my 3 M/C's. It sucks. But this year i've decided to change my attitude and stop being a negative netty and start thinking more positively and optimistically. We're hoping the the change in attitude and me stressing less about it might help us a bit. Who knows. What have I got to loose? But I hope that at the end of this cycle you do see those 2 magical pink lines. Let us know how you go.

Happy birthday little angel. Hope you're looking down on your mum & dad and praying that they can be blessed with another beautiful child like you. xxx

HOPEFULANDWAITING: When do you have your HyCoSy? Mine is scheduled for the 21st of this month. Am pretty nervous about the whole thing. And plus with DH not able to be there with me makes it worse. Good luck with yours. Hope everything is okay.

3+1=4: I'm sending you a truck load of and your way. Hope you have a nice BFP at the end of it.

AFM: I'm still swollen like the Good Year blimp and feeling a little tired and run down. Feel like crawling back into bed and sleeping. So feeling miserable all round. DH was shocked when he saw my fingers and legs. He massaged them for me before we went to sleep, but unfortunately it didn't help. Haven't felt like this before so I have no idea what the frick is going on. Might elevate my legs and see if that helps.

Going to look at the house we are going to build and see how well it'll fit on our block so that DH can figure out where he can put his shed. Getting really excited at the prospect of building our dream home. We've been in this little dog box (3x1) for 12.5 years now so I think it's time we expanded and got a nice big new house. Need room for guests and our babies.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone. Take care.

    Hi,
Just a quick post from my iPod , so can't do personals.
Congrats to the BFPs, I hope you are all able to enjoy the excitement and not stress too much. Fingers crossed for sticky bubs X.
Sorry for those still waiting for bubs to get in there.

AFM- CD14 today with +OPKs yesterday so it's action stations. Still feeling scared about the what ifs and lucky I have an understanding DH. I am sure it must be hard for him to have me crying while DTD but I keep thinking I should be trying to do this now, I should be a few weeks away from labor.
Hopefully some good news this month might make me feel a bit better.
    Have a great week!

    Default Hey

Wow, what exciting news for so many in here.

Congratulations to all the BFP's in here.

Hi Min - I hope you catch that egg!

3plus1 - i admire your positivity at starting a new cycle.

Jazz - big hugs and hope that you got throught the day ok.

AFM, well now ttc officially begins. I have my specialist appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic on Thursday to hopefully get some testing to see if it is a blood clotting problem that has caused my last 2 losses. I am now CD8 after a crazy cycle of 23 days last month and then a terribly long AF.

We just got back from a wonderful 2 weeks on the road travelling to Sydney and Coffs Harbour which I really enjoyed. Back at work now though - yuck!

The weight loss is still going really well. I am just under 10kg from my healthy weight range and have now lost a total of 25kgs in about 5 or 6 months. I am steadily losing each week and feel very in control and happy about it.

I was wondering if we should start a new thread and start keepign track of where everyone is at in their cycle? I might just start one.

    xxLisa
