    Default Hi

Hey Hopeful, I have now lost almost 8kgs in the last 6 weeks and started off at 107 and have until March next year to get to my healthy weight range until we ttc again so if you want a weight loss support buddy = pick me. I did 4 weeks of the Harcombe diet and have just switched to weight watchers online which is a little bit more exciting. Let me know if we can support each other in any way xx

Jazz1910 – How are things? Did you end up buying the 3 angels? I don’t really believe in jinxing but all the same the thoughts still pop into my head. I put off having a third baby so I could work for a year and get my fitness back. Then when we decided to conceive the third DHs work got in the way (away at the wrong times etc) and then the M/C. In some ways feels like life is punishing me or playing a cruel joke. I know that that isn’t how it works but still the thoughts come sometimes. Hope you are well.

Jacinta53 – How are things? I am also waiting for AF. Trying to be patient and accept my body has to get back to “normal” but I do wonder if it will ever get back to normal. Hope you get that BFP really soon.

Candy – I hope the TWW rewards you with BFP

PA80 – How did the house hunting go? I really hope this month is the one for you.

Tasha 74 – I am not really expecting the charting to help me either – but I feel like I am doing something which is helping my mental state at least. How’re you feeling? Have you been to the GP?

Bubbalove – Hope AF stays away and you get that BFP.

Hopeful – I agree that Noosa and Byron are fabulous!! If we are driving from BNE to SYD we stop in at Byron for fish and chips on the beach!! I understand about not wanting a second opinion and I agree that losing weight is good for you and will hopefully lead to a BFP. Just wanted to let you know about the FS with weightloss programs in case you weren’t aware. I couldn’t find info on BMI exclusions but did find a forum where a lady mentioned that the Hollywood clinic would allow people with a BMI over 35 – suggested to me that others do. You also need to remember that you are a beautiful woman that supports many other ladies here on BH – you need to be kind to yourself. Good luck with the walking – is DH going with you?

Hi Angelbubwithwings – congrats on the weight loss. Seeing as I am in limboland I thought I would increase my exercise and try and lose some weight – not doing nearly as well as you though!! Have you seen the section on BH about the 6 and 12 week challenges? I hope to be back TTC within 6 weeks otherwise I’d give that a go

3plus – How are things? Have you managed to stay away from POAS – I admire your restraint!! Hope to tomorrow brings you a BFP.

    AFM - still plodding along.

Hopefulmum2b Just wanted to give you some I know how hard it is when a new baby comes along (I think most of us do). Just remember that we are here if you need to chat.

bubbalove83 I hope AF doesn't come and that you get your on the weekend.

~Candy~ Hope that your TWW is quick and you get a positive result.

jacinta53 Best of luck, I hope that you either get your positive very soon or that you body gets back to normal so that you can at least know where you are in your cycle.

AFM I am not sure weather to call what is happening with me at the moment a very light AF or heavy spotting. Either way I hope it stops very soon so that I can get back to trying.

    to anyone I have missed.

    Happy Thursday ladies,

I got a wonderful suprise today. The nasty witch decided to visit me..
Im disappointed but pretty over it. I feel like im stuck on repeat over & over again every month.

Jazz - You sound like what i have at the moment. I have a very light AF. Just gearing up for me i think.
Do you think yours is really AF? Might be implantation?

Bubbalove Sorry that your AF showed up, I am pretty sure that it is AF that i have as I think that it has been going on for too long to be implantation (it has been almost a week now). But I have been feeling off the last few days so it has crossed my mind (and apparently DH as well) but I think that is just me wishing for it.

    Default The Secret

I had a d&c in March this year and had no success conceiving again until this month.

As I type this it sounds a little crazy but it’s helped me conceive so I hope it will help anyone else trying. I’m over the moon, thankful but also in awe that such a simple process worked so wonderfully.

I began reading a book by Rhonda Byrne called “the Secret”, http://thesecret.tv/living.html. It’s all about manifesting the things you want to appear in your life. The theory is the universe delivers what you verbalise / believe / write. For example I was starting to say to DH “everyone else can get pregnant so easily why can’t I get pregnant, etc”. What I was verbalising was coming true.

As the book suggests, I started a list of all the things I want in my life including to get pregnant and have a healthy baby next year.

Then began acting like I was already pregnant (changed my diet, stopped alcohol, threw out and deleted from my computer everything at work that I wouldn’t need next year cause I’d be on maternity leave etc) and began making room in my life at home for a new addition (starting cleaning out the spare room, sorting through DS1 baby stuff, unpacked my maternity clothes etc) and began following the sperm meets egg plan. In a way bringing “positive baby vibes” my way.

Anyway, it all worked. Tested positive on Saturday, expecting healthy addition J on June 11 next year. Continuing on with expectations, already booked myself in with obn, and for my dating scan and 12 week scan.

Bit of a freaky thing was that I wrote ‘to have a happy, healthy baby born next year… symptom free pregnancy’ I’ve had mild sore boobs but no other symptoms . Had a bit of a meltdown about the lack of symptoms yesterday but today have come to the conclusion I wrote it on my list so the universe has delivered as instructed.

I’d be interested to hear from anyone else who has success using this method.

    Good luck J

That's great hun. Congrats on the weight loss. And I would love to be your weight loss support buddy. I'm giving myself till March too to loose 25+kgs. I spoke to my lap band surgeon and he thinks that that's a reasonable goal. I'm sitting at 105.9 now since he weighed me today, so by the time March does come around i'm hoping to be 81 kgs. I've tried the Dukan Diet and lost 1.5 kgs in 4 days! Should stick to that for a few weeks and see how I go. But if we can support each other, that would be fantastic and both striving to be at our goal weight by March makes it even better. So you can definitely count me in. xxx

Thank you so much for your wealth of knowledge hun. I should definitely find out about Hollywood. It'll be a bit of a treck for me though, but I guess I won't know my options until I go right? And bless you for your kind words. It's very hard to try and be positive when you've had low self esteem and wieght issues for most of your life, so trying to stay positive is kinda hard. But with all of you here for support has be a huge help and am taking baby steps in my weight loss and TTC journey. DH has reassured me that we are still TTC so that I need not panic with that. I hasd the assumption that we were going to stop until i've lost some weight. But he said no. If I loose even just a little bit will make a large difference, so we'll never know. But I have you all to give me a good kick in the **** if I decide to get slack with the weight loss, so I will try my damed hardest to make you all proud. DH isn't doing anything with me. I was going solo, but i'm now going to team up with angelbubswithwings, so we can lose the weight together. xx

Thanks for the hugs Darl. I'm actually doing quite well considering. Although it breaks my heart seeing DH's family holding him and going all gaga over him. Have to be strong for DH because I know it kills him to see me that way and I don't want him to be upset over it. But with all of you here to vent and carry on is giving me the strength to be strong and get through this. So I am forever greatful to you all. xxx

Oh poo to stupid AF. She always has to ruin everything. Hope her stay isn't too long so you can get back to business soon. Fingers crossed for this month sweetie.

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all well and staying out of trouble like me. (insert devilish laugh here)

Arrghh, I didn't see I had a typo... Hollywood was the clinic mentioned that DID have the cut-off at 35 so maybe try other clinics first. So sorry Hopeful - I really should have checked better before I posted. Good to hear you sounding more positive with your plan. Need to give DH a bit of kick though to support you more with this goal (IMO). fantastic that AngelBWWs is going to be your weightloss buddy. I wish you both all the best!!

    Hi to everyone else

well hello there beautiful ladies heres some interesting news from me. i wake up this morning on cd30 all ready to test and so do so and get a bfn . very disappointed then off to fs and he growls at me for testing (tounge in cheek ) as i had handed over my chart whilst i was in the bathroom, and he says to me its too early for you to test you look like you have ovulated on cd18 and it now is too early for hsg to show up. so dp and i sat upright and walked out of there with a little more hope. i guess its not over till af comes knocking on the door. i feel slightly anxious a little confused and a tiny bit hopeful. i do have af symptoms ever so slightly so now we have to wait till sun morn to test again and i have a early flight to newcastle to be with my daughter who is a bout to give birth any minute.so im crossing everything at present and hanging in there a miracle might just come out of this il keep you posted.

Woohoo 3plus How exciting to have a "second" chance this month. I imagine though that it also prolongs the anxiety and second guessing of any aches and pains. I have my fingers crossed that there is a BFP for you on Sun. Hope your trip to Newcastle goes well. Would be lovely news to share with your daughter!!
