I saw a physio last week due to concerns that my Ob had about the degree of separation of my abdominal muscles, I knew they were quite bad but this is my third baby and I have always managed to recover after the others, anyway the physio was also quite horrified at how separated they are, and has given me tubigrip to wear all day every day for the rest of the pregnancy, I'm 36 weeks now.
I really don't like wearing it, it's really really tight and uncomfortable, makes me itch like mad and most importantly it just doesn't feel right, I feel like I'm restricting the baby's movements, and I'm sure I must be because it's just so tight, I have shared my concerns with my OB and he thinks it's fine, so just wondering if any one else has used it during pregnancy? and what you thought of it.
I also can't really see what good i can be doing as when I take it off at night surely my stomach muscles are going to go straight back to they were.
I don't know why my body doesn't stretch! I'm quite petite and only have a little belly, don't know what would happen if I had bigger babies!
