    Default Packing/Moving Boxes & Furniture Storage Ideas

    Hello,

    {text removed by moderator}

    We are about to start renovations next month and we need to pack our house which is going to be a huge job it includes a piano!

    The inside of our house is going to be painted, the floors polished and a new kitchen outfit.

    We are even trying to still decide what we are going to do with all the furniture. Whether to hire a shipping container and put this in our driveway or hire a tarp and put everything on our deck for 3 weeks.

    We'll probably live downstairs in the house whilst the polishing and painting is done upstairs.

    Bring it on, with a 4yr old ds and an 8mth old dd to contend with during the packing, planning and building process.

    Yipee!!

    when we were moving we went to our local bunnings on a monday night and stocked up on their boxes. Around here they keep am area inside the door with leftover boxes. You often get several in the same size which is handy for organising/stacking.

    Good luck, it sounds like you have your work cut out!

    lros - you could also try Super Amart and Good Guys, they should have the bigger boxes, and sturdy ones too!

    Try the local pub/clubs too they often have boxes from alcohol and bulk chips etc which are a good size for the smaller bits and bobs and sturdy.
