    Default GTT/GDS with QML Qn??

    Hi Ladies

I was wondering if anyone had recently done the glucose tolerance test/screening at QML??

I am only 26 weeks and need to have this test done this week (as i am seeing my ob next week and he wants to look at the results)

I still have pretty bad hyperemesis, managing to control it 95% of the time with Zofran, but still have to be very careful of what i eat/drink, how i eat/drink etc i can only sip drinks still... so i am very nervous of setting myself back for the sake of having a test i dont believe i have any risk factors to require, but id rather be safe than sorry...

I saw in a previous thread that u can be offered jelly beans instead of the drink at some places... i was just curious if anyone knew if QML had this option as eating something small would be easier than a volume of liquid....

Sorry a bit long, but TIA

Sorry I have never heard of either QML or S&N offering jelly beans instead of the drink.

But you will have to make an appt for the test anyway - so why not ask when you book in (maybe you already have!)

    Good luck!
