Default Lochia still going after 9 weeks!

As the title suggests, almost 10 weeks after DD was born I still have post partem bleeding! It's not heavy at all, and also not consistent- one day it will be there (only need to wear a light panty liner) and the next day there will be nothing and then it returns again.
When I saw the Dr at 8 weeks he was not concerned at all about it, but should he be? From everything I've read it's only supposed to last for 6 weeks?

mine lasted 13 weeks and sounded alot like yours. My placenta was delivered intact however my GP asked that i have an ultrasound done just to be safe. I had that done at about 12 weeks and unfortunately it was an internal one but the technician was able to see that there was only little amounts of bleeding left, a few days at the most and no retained placenta.
I guess some people just have it longer then others
