Default how do you no its time?

How did you determain the difference between brackston hicks and actual contractions?

This morning i have had nothing but really bad BH and its really driving me crazy!

Prob TMI but i cant even tell if my waters have broken or not because things are fairly wet most of the time these days.....

There coming every 5 mins or so at the moment and last like 10 minutes... nothing will stop them

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    how far along are u?

i think bh are not regular where real contracts are?
i know when my waters break its easily enough to fill a bucket seriously lol

but ive heard a lot of women can have a slow trickle?

especially as i assume u are having twins? id ring delivery suite and let them know and id be pretty sure theyll tell u to come in and get check out just in case.

    good luck

If a shower/panadol and rest won't was them off then it's probably the real deal. Best of luck!

Well for me personally, there was no way I could have compared braxton hicks to contractions They are so different, and when I had my first contraction, there was no denying it was a contraction!

I've been having slightly painful BH's every 5-10 minutes both yesterday and today... Shower certainly didn't make them go away, but they're not too painful... I'll definately be watching this thread!

Give the hospital a call. See what they say. I to thought braxton hix were random and not exactly timed.
My braxtons were worse than labour LOL.

i was just going to say that my bh with all of my kids have been 20 times worse then labour. so painful they stop me from doing what i was doing i cook tes and just standing there and they make me cripple over with so much pain its awful. so with saying that i am hoping again my apparent real ones are the same as last time and not as bad as all the bh i had.

i was told if a change of scenery doesnt stop them then they must be the real deal

if you are not Sure about your waters breaking, smell it ((hope thats not tmi). it has a pretty distinctive Sweet smell. At least mine did... Your waters can replenished themselves for a long time before labour begins. But as others have said, i'd be ringing the hospital, they won't mind and its better to be cautious! Can't really help with the bh question tho as mine were barely noticeable Hth
