    Default jonbenet

I saw on Sunrise this morning that they have arrested a man in Bangkok in relation to paedophile charges and they think it was him that killed jonbenet ramsey.
He lived in the same area in colorado when she was killed, and apparantly was sending emails to patsy ramsay before she died.
I really hope that they have found the right guy and hes put away forever and the family can finally have some closure!

I just think it's sad that if it is him who killed jonbenet ramsay, that her mum wasn't around to see them find the killer and see him serve life for what he did to her family.....

I saw it too... I just about tripped over the computer chair trying to get to the T.V. I hope they lock him up for good. It's been 10 yrs, so I can imagine it will be closure for the parents especially because of the suspicion surrounding her death about the parents involvement

How horrible for those parents to lose their precious little girl in such a violent and horrendous way, to only then be persecuted for their actions when they found her (what parent wouldn't pick up their child if found in the same way?) and for 10 years. Now Patsy has died and never seen her child's real murderer brought to justice. I really feel sick when I think about what that family went through, and being accused of doing it to their own daughter - it makes me want to cry.

About a month ago in the newspaper here there was a really good & long article (extracted from a book I think) discussing this case. It was so interesting - some things you read about made the parents look so guilty & other things you read about other suspects made them look so guilty.

I read online that Patsy Ramsey was aware that police were close to an arrest before she died which is nice to know.

A bit like the Azaria case isn't it............you have to deal with tragically losing your child and then also be accused of being the ones who did it.

I've never thought that the Ramsays had anything to do with the murder of their child.
At least Patsy would have died knowing that her conscience was clear.
If the Boulder Police had of done their job properly, instead of just looking at the parents, this could have been solved a long time ago.
Police say he was under investigation for an unrelated sex crime, but was arrested after confessing to previously unreleased details surrounding the six-year-old's death.
CBS reported that the suspect, a second-grade teacher, would be brought returned to the United States this weekend.
Apparently the Ramsays knew of a potential suspect before Patsy died.

On a cynical note: will it actually end the speculation, though? I, co-incidentally, was looking at my favourite "true crime" website the other day and followed a link to a jonbenet website, and there are literally thousands and thousands of sites completely devoted to this case. I have never had a clear-cut idea either way about who did it (certainly some of the parents' behaviour seemed suspicious) but even if this guy confesses and pleads guilty - will the speculation ever end?

My sister called me up this morning telling me about this news. I think it is fantastic that the mongrel has finally been found. I just wish Jonbenet's mother had been around to see it but shes with her daughter now. I never thought their family had anything to do with it. I remember they tried to blame it on every family member even her brother who was only 11 years old!
