New To Adelaide

Hi, Our family has just moved from Sydney and we are now living in the Unley area. We don't know anyone over here, so would love to meet other families. I am married, in my 30's and have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter and 15mth old son. Suggestions for playgroups, etc, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there! Welcome to Adelaide!

I live on the otherside of Adelaide so I can't really comment too much on the playgroups around there but you can ring up Playgroup SA and they can tell you where the closest one to you is.

Unley is a great area to live. I hope you enjoy living here.

i'm up in the hills, so i don't know the playgroups in the unley area, but i think there are a few in that area that friends of friends have used.

I am a northern girl. But I am sure there is plenty of lovely places in your area.

Maybe check around the local shop noticeboards or the local council??

Hi there,

Thanks to everyone for your replies. Have been to a playgroup at one of the local churches, it was very quiet but I was told their earlier group meeting is busier, so we will check it out.

I know it's nearly 12 months ago.. but here's hoping! I'm not too far from Unley- new to forum- I have a 4 month old DD & looking to make new mum friends
