Hi girls - sorry if I get confused with who I am responding too - just you all have mum in your name!!! Mon2one, mummyhopes and mum to Chris - then there me -crofty!!! Feel like the old con the fruited comedian - Eula, Tula, sula & agappi - hehe

Enough of my attempt of humor - mum to Chris - I'm sure my DHEA from fresh at Westpoint was 80 -
Per script - so 160 in total as I had 2 x scripts and no more (FS said to stop when u went for transfer)

Afm - 2nd BT today to track for "o" for my first natural FET - fingers x that my little Embys thaw nicely (4 in one lot - 2 in another and 1 in the last) hopefully we get a great enbnow they also need to grow nicely to 5 day blasts!!!!

Oh my goodness, Crofty, you are so funny. I can't stop laughing about your Con the fruiterer reference, but yes, it's true, we do have a lot of 'mum' names here don't we? I'll probably change my username one day, just have to think of something as I'm not very creative, hence why I came up with my username in the first place.

I'm thinking that Fresh Therapeutics have had a price increase on DHEA but it's only $5 after all, just means I have to go without hot chips for that week.

Mummyhopes - thanks for your feedback on Colorado and luveris. Both are very new to me so I probably should do some more research if/when the time comes to speak to my FS about options.

Mom2OneDS - sorry about that last long post I did, you did very well to respond to it, I'm impressed. It's funny and also ridiculous how we have to teach our FS how to do their jobs. I never thought about having 450 of puregon/gonalf affecting our egg quality, but it sounds right now that I think about it. If your FS is anything like mine you can't get your script without seeing him/her first, God forbid they miss out on another consultation fee, at least you can claim it through Medicare.

When you do get your script I would still take the recommended dosage of 3x 25mg tablets daily, otherwise it may not work as effectively as it could? Your homeopathic one sounds like the one I had, you just may need to double the dosage for it to have some affect. I think I tried that, can't remember, but I did take it for about a month before I got the real deal.

Thanks also for your info re luveris, I'll just wait and see how it's been going at my next cycle before I make any new decisions.

Crofty, yeah you are so funny I couldnt stop grinning and DS was wondering what I was doing grinning at the lap top....hehehehehehehe....your embies thaw well and grow to fantastic blasts for your natural FET! When you mentioned 80 per script, are there 100 pills? Are they sublingual pills? I read they are absorbed better using the blood******. Can you claim anything back from Private health insurance?

Mumtochris, I think our FS probably knows we can claim something from medicare so he may just tell me I have got to see him! Havent heard or received any reply from his secretary yet...guess she is probably holding it off till Monday?

Hmmm I thought about high dose compromising egg quality esp after the poor fert rate for my second cycle and FS said 'possible' when I quizzed him. But this new FS insisted that I should go back to 450IU (actually if I had known he is quite flexible and blur-head, I would insist lower dose) and this time fert rate was worse! Now he is ok that I go on 300IU next cycle. Some FS thinks that high dose wont compromise but some do. There is no conclusion so we can only use ourselves as guinea pigs observations...

AFM : I went to my TCM clinic and one practitioner who saw me shared with me about her views. She said if she were me she wont do IVF even if she ends up childless. I dont know why she said that. I was not angry at all at her comments cos I know where she is coming from. She is a nice person.

Then while I was grocery shopping I met a friend. She told me she is pregnant with 5th baby. I congratulated her. Then she told me all this is God's plan and will. She didnt want to have another baby and was very careful to avoid getting pregnant again but she did again. I didnt know what to say but I told her we have secondary infertility and have been trying since 2008. Didnt tell her we are doing IVF treatment cos I know she is going to give me a piece of her mind. I dont know why I got this coming to me today. Am I getting the message to stop trying..to stop IVF? Am I trying too hard? I have been in pondering mode.

    Yes mum2oneDS I did get 100
Tabs for $80 ( thats how many came for me anyway) not sure on the private health rebate - I don't have priv health - but you can claim
Certain things back on tax so keep ALL receipts that your FS prescribes for you.

(blowing raspberries 😝) at your TCM and "I've got 5 babies" friend - I wouldn't listen to anyone - I believe it's your own decision - and your body to say when you need a break or enough is enough

Hey mum to chris - don't go giving
Up those weekly hot chips - give up something else to save that $5 hope ur well!!

Afm - FET transfer tomorrow and i shall c how many of my precious little day 1 Frosties survived hopefully they will be at least 1 nice blastie to transfer and 1 to refreeze for later . Also had my 1st acupuncture today and another on Monday - my acu guy said I have bad circulation . So he worked on that and my Uterus to assist with implantation 🙏

Have a g8 weekend everyone - it's very quiet across the Bub hub community ATM too many Chrissy celebrations !!!! 🎅

Thx mum to chris - we transferred 2 Embys today - 1 that was moving to blast as we were transferring and the other was at morula (hoping to move to blast later today) the scientist was really happy with the 1st embryo and hopes the 2nd catches up - she did say that the frozens sometimes take a little longer than fresh so all we can do is x our fingers - and until we have other news - we are PUPO with TWINS!!!!
BT scheduled for 28th Dec - hoping my doctors (and pathology lab) are open that day!!!! Cause WFC is closed until 3 jan - damn
