One of my dd's best friends, left dd's daycare and started there about 2mths ago - she is turning 4 next month. I saw them briefly about 2 weeks ago and her mum said she settled in quickly and enjoyed going there.
I'm seeing them in about 2 weeks time for yet another kids party, anything in particular you would like me to sus out?

I would just love to know how it compares to normal schooling for the child and what the culture is of the school (whether everyone is really nice or there are issues.. yanno all the normal stuff you ask about a school )

So I spoke to them yesterday and she said she is very happy with it. Great staff male & female! she loves the way they encourage children to learn independently and have beautiful resources but feels they don't encourage social skills and that the children are treated too much like they are at school rather then a Childcare environment (limited relationships with teachers, play on their own without guidence etc) -  might work better for older preschool children but
doesn't suit this particular child. She is putting her back at my dd's centre one day a week.
She doesn't think she will keep her dd there
long term and will go to primary school else where.
