Mrs Jag - I know 5 doesn't sound like much but I've heard of other ladies on BH who had 2 at pick up with 1 fertilising and turning into a BFP, so don't lose hope. Good luck

Well, WFC was supposed to ring me today to let me know about the embies, but they texted me instead, which I was a bit gutted about. Why no phone call?

    I have 2 embryos that fertilised, 3 that didn't.

The text says I have a transfer booked for WED 30/4. Um, the 30th of April is MONDAY. Stupid. This is why texting is bad. Of course, trying to ring or text back is useless, as nobody is in to answer phones.

    I'm so bummed.

Do you guys know if you need to go back and see your fertility specialist again before doing another stim cycle? Or can we just request another one through the Fertility Centre? I'm already over this failed attempt, so I want to get ready for another one.

Mrs Jag – 2 emby’s fertilised that’s fantastic . On Saturdays there is someone at reception until 12noon so just keep ringing or can you reply to the sms? I’ve always received sms except the one time they phoned me to say none of my eggs fertilised – so believe me an sms is much better than a phone call. If you can’t get through, just turn up on Monday, the embies are better off inside you than in the lab for another couple days.

Also, how can you say it's a failed attempt? It aint over yet, that's for sure. Yes, you do need to see your FS before you can do another cycle, that's my experience anyway as you have to sign the consent forms? That's what I had to do.

Mrs Jag Try and stay positive at least you got some fertilized. They only message me the day after the fertiization I look forward to seeing that message.

The Scientist should have spoken to you after EPU and told you when the proposed transfer date and they confirm that date in the message. You usually don't get a call unless they change the transfer date.

As for seeing the FS we only had to see Dr Howard after the 2nd failed cycle, they do make you have a month off so your body has a break. Just remember it only takes 1 to get you pregnant positivity is very important.
Dr Howard's theory is quality over quantity.

I have my bloodtest on Tuesday then US on Friday, they have increased my doage try and get some more follies, not long for me just over a week and I should be going for my EPU.

    Thanks guys.

I left a message with the centre this morning & a nurse rang me in the afternoon. They'd made an error in the message, but confirmed transfer is Monday. Let's hope our 2 make it. I'd like to at least have one go at a TWW!!!

I might ring Dr. Fong's office Monday to see what they think I should do, whether I should pre-book an appt for a follow up cycle soon. I'll need to have a provera cycle, since I don't get periods naturally.

But @mumtochris, you're right - hopefully we're still in this game!!

Hi Mrs Jag... We also had 7 retrieved.. 5 make it to day 3 and 2 to blast with 1 transferred (unsuccessful) and 1 frozen.

This little one will be used in the next week for our FET.

As the other ladies said... It only takes 1! So keep positive ☺

    Xx
