Dear Lilly – I am lost for words, I didn’t expect to come on here today to find out your news. I can’t believe that you had 11 eggs and won’t be doing a transfer, I can only imagine the devastation you’re feeling. Like I’ve said previously, I had 2 eggs at pick up in cycle 3 with none of them fertilising, but that was 2, I’m in shock for you right now, I wish there was something I could say to make you feel a bit better, but I know I can’t. You’re in my heart today, best wishes. I hope you get some answers

Ohhhh no this happened to me only two weeks ago, none from 13!! it was the most devastating feeling ever taking that call!!!! but we did IVF not ICSI, ICSI next time for us, so hearing this really scares me... so sorry lillystar, it is absolutely gut wrenching... i feel so sad for you as i know how disappointing it is... hang in there just remember it is what it is, it cant be changed, and the best thing you can do is try your best to move on and try not to dwell on it...

    Thanks soooo much ladies x

Yeah guess I am just a little bit concerned now that this isn't going to work for us Supposedly all my bits are in working order. I ovulate natually every month, good eggs, good number of eggs yadda yadda. Had a whole bunch of genetic testing done. All came back fine. Hubby can have kids as he's got kids already so we know he works but due to the vasectomy he had in a past life no sperm there.

We have now done three tranfers (1 fresh, two frozen from our first cycle), a vasectomy reversal that didn't work, another round using ICSI with no fertilisation. I am just so scared now that this won't happen for us. I never actually thought for a minute we wouldn't get pregnant one day with all this technology. Stupid me

I hope this doesn't mean we are out all together. No fertalisation using ICSI is pretty rare by the looks of things. I am ridiculously nervous about what happens next. Guess we have to hope because we had fertilisation before we can have it again? Man I hope that is true. Not quite sure what I'll do if ICSI doesn't work again next round.

    Sorry about the me post

Hope you guys are all having a good weekend x

Ladies, does Westmead do betas? I'm supposed to ring on Wednesday if still positive and I REALLY want to know my hCG levels are.

    Hi Mrsjag

Nope I don't think so. Last time I had my chem I took myself off to my local doctor to find out the HCG (which is when we found out it was a chem).

Super annoying. I think they should do them for everyone!!

How are you going? Must be sooooo exciting

I am feeling a little better today. Just waiting on WFC and my FS to call me back (left messages this morning) to find out what happens now.

    Hope everyone else is good.

    x
