Hope everyone else is doing okay. I went to work today and struggled through, but the pain/bloat is worse than yesterday. (Still there, though.)

    Got a text at lunchtime:

'Your embryos are growing well and are on track for your transfer. You shoul've started your Crinone Gel yesterday.'

I'm nosey about how many are still alive, but I guess we'll find out on Saturday!

Oh, have I started it. I am taking that + the pessaries (they look like little soap bullets!) and oy, I am hating it. HATING. I'm constantly leaky. Horrific, even after laying down 30 minutes. Yuck yuck yuck. Just hoping they do the trick!

    Hello ladies ,

Hope you’re all well today. I’m feeling a bit better. I’m so relieved to have today off work, I’m going to be a bit lazy and have a nap, lay down and watch TV. One of the ladies on the other thread calls it being a couch princess, I love that term, that’s what I plan to do today.

Lynlee – thanks for your kind words, I hope you’re going well. I did give myself a day (or 2) to be sad. Yes, taking one day at a time is the only and best thing to do. Have you had any thought to what your next step will be, or is it too early just yet?

Lilly – thank you for your support, you deserve to get a BFP too, and I hope this cycle is the one for you. You’re right, it did take a few days to pick myself up, I’m starting to feel OK

Sharlein – I love angels, thank you for sending some my way. I hope all is well with you

Jems – thank you for your support, it’s so nice that we are here for each other. I really love the sound of your new tatt, lilly’s and butterflies, so beautiful, are you having it done tonight? I don’t have any tatts (I’m scared, not sure why though) but I already know what I want to have – a dragonfly. No, not because I go for the Dragons in the footy, but because my dad always calls me a dragonfly because I can be quick tempered some times. Ever since then, I loved dragonflies. I have earrings and a pendant. They don’t represent anger to me, but my dad thinks when I get angry I act like a dragon. Thanks, dad, funny guy

Mrsjag – thank you for being supportive. How have you been feeling, hope the pain and bloating has gone away. Great to hear transfer is tomorrow, so exciting. Yeah, those pessaries are like soap bullets. I hated the leaking too, but I wore liners so I didn’t notice it too much. I think they will do the trick though. Once I stopped taking them, AF came so it looks like they were trying to do the job for me

AFM – yes, confirming AF arrived yesterday as expected. So, it’s official BFN for me. I’m not ready to give up just yet, so I’m going to try and cycle again before the end of the year (which is only 4 months away, yikes).

I probably have to make an appointment to see my FS, which is such a pain as she doesn’t do anything for me, it’s just a matter of signing the consent to do another cycle I suppose. When I asked her last time why both my embies didn’t stick, her response was “well, that’s the million dollar question” which is frustrating because I just want the million dollar answer. Do I have something wrong inside me that’s rejecting the embies? Are the embies not good enough? Did I overheat myself when sleeping because it is winter and I was cold? Was I standing too close to the stove when cooking and the heat affected the embies? Did I work too much, should I take annual leave next time? I will never know, these questions cannot be answered.

Well, one good thing is that the weekend is nearly here and that’s gotta be a good thing. Take care of yourselves everyone

MumtoChris - Glad you are feeling a little bit better lovely. Who is your FS? Mine is the same, lovely but doesn't really say or do much. Mind you she did run a bunch of blood tests this time around before this cycle starting so that is something. But I never really feel like she has much to say or really explains anything. Bit frustrating. I met Dr Fong on one of my transfers and she seemed lovely and talked alot more. I might end up switching down the track if I don't have luck in the next cycle or two to her.

MrsJag - not long till your are PUPO Yeah the pessaries suck don't they! So revolting.....haha. But hopefully they do the trick.

Bubs4kylee - how are you doing hun?

Hello to everyone else . But short and sweet for me as I am at work x

Lillystar, I highly recommend Dr F.. she is absolutely lovely, so thorough, has all the right words and encouragement when you get bad news, and doesnt seem to be wasting my time... doing lots of testing for us to make sure she has all the information she needs and throwing so much at our second cycle... I am so happy I made the switch to her.. Ive only been through one cycle with her and can only compare her to one other FS, but based on that, Im very happy with her...

MTC - Have a wonderful weekend. I will be sending you lots of thoughts over the next few days, because you are such a sweetheart on these boards and deserve to be kind to yourself. I've taken to wearing a pad rather than a liner, since the liners got completely soaked the first few days!

Lilly - So excited! I hope the pessaries + crinone do the trick.

Jeannie - thanks!!!! I'm so happy to be feeling heaps better. Just in time for tomorrow. Very relieved about that.

Lynlee - I heard you're supposed to keep your body temperature at a nice, neutral level, not too hot and not too cold. No heat pads or hot baths or electric blankets or anything like that. I don't miss much, but I DO love a good soak in the tub every now and again.

AFM.. I don't know much about the other specialists, but I can't vouch enough for Dr. F. She's always taken the time to explain everything to me, and I appreciate that. Dr. Tong seemed nice at EPU though, but I've not had a consult with him.

I had a panic attack at school today, as I missed a phone call (blocked number) while I was on playground duty. Blocked usually equals WFC, so I was freaking out, since there was no voicemail. Rang hubby, and turns out they rang to push our time from 11.30 to 1.10pm tomorrow for transfer.

Hubby, bless him, he asked how the 3 embies were looking (aw!) and they said they hadn't checked them today, but looked good yesterday. I'm praying they are looking good tomorrow.

Crap. Guess who was too distraught after egg retrieval to request a guided ultrasound transfer? I only just thought of it now. Bugger! I would hate to mess up a 5-day transfer by going in blind.

Last time it was just the speculum & then they used the catheter. There wasn't a vag cam in sight! I was hoping this time to ask for one, just to be sure all went ok, but apparently you need to ask in advance?
