Wow bec u must be getting so excited!!! SO close!! YAY for babysale!! Tho i wont be attending as we live too far away from a Big W (And i dont really need anything much)

Addison, i cant think foward to the future... I cry. Anytime think about being able to take time off work for bubs and then having bubs!! I cry. Mum mentioning people visiting - I cry. Discussion about feeding/the first day - I cry. LOL! Such a sook!!
I Agree, i wish i knew this was going to be sticky. I started spotting around 6-7wks with my MC so a lil on edge atm. But all good - so far! Few lil "OMG NO!" moments, but wasnt spotting lol.

I even went to the extent of asking if we can purchase plain white toilet paper for work until after ive had the baby!! lol When i was there earlier, i wiped and it had some pink, I started freaking out then realised the print had pink shells on it! lol (My boss is mum and she knows about MC And this pg so she just thought i was nuts - but agreed if it makes me happy )

I didnt get results of my MC as it was a natural MC and the OB was a jacka**. I do wish i knew tho. Maybe if it was something we could fix, itd put me at ease!

    Hi Ladies...

well i sadly find myself leaving the March forum and back here with my 2nd miscarriage in a row...im just utterly heart broken...i was 9 weeks but bub didnt make it past 7weeks.

my last miscarriage ended with bub not making it past 7 weeks either so now im on the journey of finding out why my babies dont grow any futher...im hoping the results come back normal and its just bad luck....because i dont think i could deal with anymore heartbreak...

my first bub was unplanned and i was on the pill...it was upsetting but we knew PHEW we can get pregnant, this bub we conceived ON OUR WEDDING NIGHT 2 weeks after my d&c.....couldnt be more special...butunfortunately it was not meant to be either...
Im having the d&c tomorrow and hoping there after after 1 AF we can conceive again and the next one be a sticky one!!

Shadow - You don't have to drink the entire litre. I only drink 750ml and finish it 30minutes before my appointment. Never had an issue.

TSG2011 - So sorry to read of your loss. I really hope you get some answers.

BB - Yay on buying more stuff!!! I need to stop buying stuff. I can't help myself its so cute. Not long for you now. Enjoy the last few weeks.

Addison - I never had tests done when I miscarried. But I am in a high risk category now and see Dr Anna Bof (who specializes in high risk pregnancy). Could be related to my miscarriages, but it might not be, but I've had to start progesterone cream at 25+5weeks due to my cervix shortening. Possibly unrelated.
DF & I had a heap of blood tests done during this pregnancy but all came back clear.

Melameen - Remember not to over do it at work. Take the time out if you need it. And rant/vent away.

AFM - Getting really tired lately, not sure how I'm going to sure the last 31days left of working. Baby was going mental tonight kicking and moving around. I was sitting on the couch and watch my belly contort. It was so freaky. Having major sweets cravings lately. 28 weeks tomorrow. 5 more days till when DD was born.

Just curious - How and When did u announce to ur inlaws?

Im going with the theory of - They dont need to know at all. lol but dont know how that will play out.

my MIL is a nutcase (not just saying that because shes an inlaw), and very controlling of DP when he has children. Tries to move in and literally TAKES them. I Seen it with his son just after DP and i met.

He was 6mnths old, birth mother admitted to hospital unexpectedly, took him with her. She went to the hospital, MIL told her shes too stressed, took baby home...when the mother came out she REFUSED!!! to give him back, said he was more settled and she had to sign a stat dec to hand over custody otherwise she would be calling DHS with reports until he was taken off her. Since then - DHS actually took them off MIL as she was unfit.

Being a childcare worker i understand that it doesnt work like that (false reports), but still, i dont wanna deal with her giving me grief with a newborn.

Its still early days yet as im only 6wks and she normally lives interstate but dp informs me last night, shes moving HERE to my hometown - tomorrow morning. I just know shes going to be a nuicence, and work out somethings up when we're seen at the hospital, or doctors, both just around the corner from where shes staying. (Or sees me when i start showing)

DP assures me she wont be here long (In 2yrs with DP ive seen her literally move house more times than i have fingers and toes - with his children) from house, to house, to 1br unit with another person (3 adults and 2 kids in a 1br unit??) to caravan park to cabin...Sometimes only staying in places for a week or a few days. Very unstable. But im still worried that 1: she will find out and 2: she will cause problems.

Its her RIGHT to know isnt it? so we HAVE to tell her...? Im sure courts these days are giving grandparents rights in custody cases as well...or am i wrong? UGH!! any suggestions? lol

No idea hun, but don't let it stress you out.

We didn't tell my Inlaws till I was 12weeks. Not because they are nut cases but it took DF a while to come to the term with becoming a father etc. FIL was overjoyed not sure on MIL. I didn't see her from 12weeks till 25 or 26weeks. Not sure how it will be once the baby is actually born.

NOTE TO ALL - do not eat bacon and a packet of toobs and half a packet of skittles when you get really bad heartburn at night. I am in agony its soo bad. Stupid Mylanta doesnt work.

Shadow, you're MIL situation sounds totally confronting. It's your body and your baby so whenever it feels right, in your gut, tell her. If that means 36 weeks or 12 weeks, do whatever is right for you and nobody else. The law will not recognize grandparents rights over parents.

AFM I got a copy of the lovely letter my obs sent my GP and my due date is now the 25th January, I think that's as the baby was measuring bigger than my LMP. So I'm now 14 weeks and three days. All is good, bump is growing, all my elasticated and loose pants are now going over the top of my bump toy non existent waist.
