    Haha that's funny ...

100% Australian owned manufacturing company who DO have an environmental conscience. Yeah let's boycott them, because they source palm oil from certified sources.

Not a company as such, but lamb, and veal. I don't want to eat baby animals. I try to only buy free range meat/produce these days as its important to me animals are treated with respect.

Native habitats of many rain forrest species are burnt to the ground so palm trees can be planted. Many animals including orangutans then try to live on these plantations, they are then shot for causing damage to the trees. I flew over Malaysia once, it was sad to see 99% of what i saw were palm plantations.

    My boycotts:

1 The Austrslian Diamond Company- they completely screwed us around, lie about valuations, have extremely substandard work and try to refuse to fix their mistakes.

2 proctor and gamble- testing in animals and dny company that does.

    3 exotic animal circuses.

4 non free rangs eggs and any "free range" that isn't. Any free range eggs that beak cut (there's one company with the white dog on the front that is ethical).

5 Gloria jeans and the salvos- I refuse to support biggotry.

6 any company that associates with the fur industry.

7 PETA- do your own research, you'll be dusgusted.

    8 bond.

9 any pet shop that sells cats and dogs.

10 palm oil of any kind including "ethical" palm oil.

    I hope I haven't forgotten anything!

Oh I did, I also don't purchase non free range chicken and pork.

Gloria Jeans coffee, because the company funds an evangelical 'ministry' which is alleged to have abused women, some of whom suffered mental illness.

    I also forgot:
BPA and BPA free plastic- BPA free plastics contain BPS, which is almost identical compound to BPA. It binds to fat molecules in the body just like BPA, except the half life is longer, therefore actually being worse than BPA. There are quite a few Bisphenol A compounds available for industry to use.

I boycott companies that animal test, cage eggs and palm oil products.

Just a quick question does anyone with an economics background or knowledge on the benefits of FDI and free market economies still believe in only buying Australian?
