    Question Boy or Girl Bump

    Hi ladies,

Today i took my first belly pic, i was meant to do one weeks ago but still thought i had heaps on time before my bump would appear as this is my first.

I hope that it's a girl and my mum did say that it looks like a girl bump to me last night but i just want to know what you think.

I was always told I had a boy bump!! This I never really understood!
Right up until my little girl was born people would tell me it looked like I was having a boy!!

I have had so many people tell me I must be having a boy or girl because of how I'm carrying/my shape - but 2 girls & 1 boy & I've been the same shape/size for all of them - it's the only way my body carries. They've all sat very high, & my bump is like a basketball straight out in front of me! So I think the whole "boy shape" "girl shape" for a pg belly is a myth.... sorry

I think it's too early to tell to me you appear in the middle not high not low. I was like this with DS and right up untill he was born no one could guess by my bump. This time they are saying girl though.

I don't believe in it anyway.

Goodluck with getting your girl you are after boys are so much fun though.

    Hi splish n splash,

I thought it looked in between too, guess i'm just being impatient, i will get to find out on the 21st so i just need to wait it out.

I would be happy with a boy too but would prefer a girl first, one of each in the end would be perfect but when i'm the only girl with 3 older brothers in my family i feel a girl is needed.

Yep, maybe a bit too early. I was the same, checking out mine early and I was very similar to you at the same stage. I was thinking it's a bit low like a boy but as it turns out my placenta is low this time apparently so maybe that's why because I have found out we're having a girl.

I know for many people it doesn't work but for my first two pregnancies I was the classic low boy shape with my son and had the high girl bump with my daughter.

    Good luck.
    It's very exciting.
