Three figures...

I have for as long as I can remember always had things happening that were both scary and seemingly inexplicable. I am an easily scared person!

One particulary thing that has happened that has plagued me for a while is that one night when I was staying over my now ex-boyfriend's house I stirred into that just before complete awake state and saw three figures, to this day I am convinced they were men, they call had dark, long, coats on and dark wide brimmed hats on. They stood at the side of our bed, two at the front and one taller one at the back. All of them had their hands folded in front of them. I screamed at the top of my lungs and once my boyfriend woke from my screaming they had disappeared. Is this anything significant? Anything to be worried about? Anything particularly important to people who have more of an understanding for the supernatural? It freaks me out to this day.

I would really like to know what or who it was I saw and why?!?!

I think a lot of people hallucinate a bit in that just-waking type state. I remember waking one night in that half asleep type state and hallucinating my mother in her dressing gown walking toward me. I said 'Mum' and she just kept walking toward me, her arms out in front of her. I squealed and my non-hallucinatory mother came running into the room and the zombie-mother dissipated.

I know that my mother sometimes wakes up in that state and sees spiders crawling all over the ceiling above her. I think it's just something your half asleep brain can conjure.

What a yucky experience it is though!

Thanks Ski-bunny.. I sleep better tonight knowing that there is a rational non-supernatural explanation behind it.... the mind is a powerful thing, I guess sometimes we forget just how powerful it can be!
