    Hi,

    Can i join as well.

My husband does FIFO 7/7 roster and is back again this wednesday. Yah.

Previously his roster was 2/1 which was really hard.

I have 2 boys who now look forward to Daddy coming home ever week.

You have to take time out for yourself or I find I dont cope very well.

I have 1 boy in school and 1 in daycare 2 days a week so I can catch up on things in the house, shopping and catching up with friends and family.

If any of you guys are on the Gold Coast and want to catch up please PM me.

    ASH

    Hi Ash

I have 2 boys (and a baby girl) as well, my hubby use to do 8:6 day shift, 7:7 night shift and it was quiet nice, he now does 2:2 which is a bit harder but it's nice having him home for so long, except this next R&R he is doing 5 extra shifts

    Hi,

My hubby used to do 2/1 as well and that was so hard we only had 1 baby then and i used to struggle.

But now I find that week goes so fast that he is home before I know it.

I actually dont mind him being away that week.

Thermo and Laksa I'm in Perth too but I'm NOR. I wouldn't mind driving down your way once in a while though if you have regular meets :-) BTW I'm not on FB so can't access any fifo groups there.

My DH does 2/2 also. He's at Xmas Creek operating the power station.

    Hi All

I haven't read all the other responses but DF has recently started doing FIFO from Perth. He is on a 2:1 roster but I think there has been talk about putting them on an 8 days on 6 days off roster which would be a bit nicer. We are SOR in Perth too

My DH does 8/6, I think it's the best roster
We've been doing this for many years so had 9/5, 2w/2w, weekdays on/weekend off - THAT WAS CRAP, too much time on the plane and no good break...
