    Hi Walhalla,

I think its fantastic that you have sent everything back and your referees have been contacted already. yipee how exciting! Now that your all done with forms and medical checks it's like Macks said... The wait from here can feel a bit tough because its just waiting for the call.... Are you located here in Vic? Some people wait a few weeks to be allocated some wait months, I personally waited 8 months but our office was understaffed at the time but as soon as we got the call the ball has been rolling nicely ever since so no complaints whatsoever.

I have everything crossed that your office has plenty of staff and your next in line for allocation. Then your only a handful of interviews away from being approved.

Keep us posted on your progress and feel free to pm any questions you may have.

    Take care all

    Morning All,
I hope this note finds you all well.
Exciting news we got APPROVED yesterday!
It was all over pretty quickly and our heads were spinning afterwards... It didn't really sink in until midnight last night. So the wait begins hopefully not too long but however long it is will be the perfect amount if time.

How is everyone going with their applications and wait for social workers etc???

    Take Care xo

Congratulations GusandMeg, that is great news. Hopefully not too long to wait now
We submitted our paperwork about a month and a half ago, all our referees have been contacted and we have been contacted about a couple of things they wanted to follow up, so now we are in the waiting game for a social worker. I have to admit I'm finding this bit really hard, I keep thinking about our application and second guessing ourselves.
Hope everyone else is progressing well

Hi Walhalla, we struggled at this stage too I remember, even more than the wait after approval. It's easy to say I know but don't worry about your application. If you were yourselves then there can be nothing wrong with it!
I hope you get your case worker soon.

    All the best

Thank you everyone, It's so exciting and feels so much more real now that we have been approved. I'm so nervous about the phone call I can't begin to imagine how we are going to feel when it happens. The nursery is set to go, hubby and I are organizing a last minute getaway together just in case it happens soon. Ill keep you posted!
    Take care everyone
