    A beautiful little girl wow!
Is it infant adoption or permanent care?
I cant begin to imagine the mixture of feelings and emotions you are going through, what a busy week you have ahead of you. Please keep us posted and good luck for tomorrow!
Hi, it is adoption which we were so not expecting. She is just adorable.

I sill can't believe I have a little baby girl sleeping just meters away from me.

    Cheers, Macks

We received a call today at 4pm and have been
allocated a 11mth old baby girl. She is on a
permanent care order. We are so excited and
overwhelmed at the same time. We go into DHS
tomorrow to find everything out and make a
transition plan. She will be home by the 16th May.

Got to try and sleep now. Diesnt quite seem real yet.
We will be telling our son tomorrow after we have more
details and hopefully a photo. He is a bug brother now
    WOW!!

    Sam
Oh Sam, that is fantastic news. So happy for you. I've been following you for a short while now and with all you have been through you absolutely deserve this bundle of joy.

We were placed just two weeks ago with a little baby girl too and trust me, that elated feeling does not wear off any time soon. Enjoy every minute as I'm sure you will.

    All the best
    cheers, Macks

Great to hear of the good news. Its nice that you didn't have to wait a really long time to gain a new child.

    Hi

I've been reading the posts here and have had 'technical difficulties' trying to reply until now. Would just like to say congratulations to those who have been allocated and brought home their new bubs. Very exciting!

We have been approved by the panel a couple of weeks ago for the infant adoption program VIC and still celebrating our 'paper pregnancy'.

    Hi gusandmeg,

Just touching base to see how you are progressing. Have you been allocated your case worker yet?

    cheers,Macks

    QUOTE=gusandmeg;7164072]Hello to you both,

My hubby and I have have just completed our application for local adoption in

VIC South East. Just wondering how you are both traveling and if you have

been placed with an infant yet? We attended our info day in September and

the 2 days training in October 2012 and are on the list

waiting to be allocated a Social Worker.

Would be great to be in touch with others who are adopting locally in Vic!

    Cheers[/QUOTE]

    Macks,
(woops still getting used to this!)
All is well, just waiting for that phone call but trying not to put life on hold either. We are getting prepared at home with baby things just 'in case'.
    How's your baby girl??
