If you be negitive about someone or something today tomorrow the world will spin around and slap it back in your face!
It really depends on you and your bub. I assume you are breastfeeding?
Mine came back at 4m with the 1st
at 10m with the 2nd
and 11m with the 3rd
If you are worried you can take the mini pill while feeding.

I bf DD and it came back at 8mths. I'm ff DS and it came back at around 7-8weeks this time. But he's 13weeks now and still no sign of it this cycle so its still a bit whacked out.
Its just one of those things that's different for everyone and every baby.

I have a friend who's period didnt come back for at leas 18 months - in fact it still hasnt come back, she got pregnant and is BF again so she hasnt bled except for after birth in 4 years!
Others come back in less than 6 weeks.

Mine came back both times when they were 1 and I was feeding about twice a day.
A few friends haven't got theirs til the kid is 2. Some get theirs back when baby is only 2 months even when b/f full time. All depends on your body and how much you feed.
How long's a piece of string?
It depends on way to many factors to be able to answer outright. Some women don't get their back for months - sometimes YEARS after their bubs are born (particularly if they're breastfeeding, and particularly if they're breastfeeding overnight quite a lot), and some people (ie me) get them back 4 weeks after their lochia stops after the birth no matter HOW MUCH they breastfeed (stoopid period![]()
).
If you're formula feeding, it could still be some time too, until your hormone levels return to normal. I'd expect it to return soon if you are FF your bub, but again any number of things can interfere with it - ie thyroid dysfunction (which is pretty common after giving birth).
If you're worried, go have chat with your GP![]()
