    Default Face moisteriser for bubs

My dd(9month) has dry skin on her face her checks and nose are a little cracked and her forhead is dry. Her chin has dribble iritant

I assume it's a combo of teething, being sick and the windy weather

I've been rubbing paw paw on her checks which have helped but does anyone know of a better face cream for her?

im not sure how much of a help this will be, but when dd was born her skin was really dry/cracked the dr gave us some cream that healed it up really quick. it was sorbelene mixed with something else (?) that the chemist had to make up. it worked wonders. sorry i cant remember the name tho!

i found sorbolene cream good but i also love the alpha keri products. if you also use a baby wash, perhaps stop using that and just use water for her. i limit the amount of wash i put on coop(only 3 times a week i will use wash on him as water works just as good) and he has lovely skin from limited wash etc i think. its quite moisturised etc.

alpha kerri products helped coop esp when he was a new born as he had incredibly dry skin that took forever to get all moisturised because he came out and looked a bit overcooked. i refuse to use J & J and a few others for him.

Do you get them from normal chemist?
Why no j and j? I've only really used j&j and curash and my own body wash which is for sensitive skin

J & J is just nasty nasty stuff. i never used the curash stuff as i didnt like it.

you can get alpha keri from normal chemist. might seem expensive but its really great value as it will last forever. they have wash, oil and moisturiser as well. its the only stuff i will use for coop.

DD had quite a dry scalp and skin and I find good old olive oil helped to clear it within a couple of days.

When DD had really bad dermatitis as a baby we used a colloidal oatmeal cream on her face that we got from the chemist (sorry can't remember the name and we don't have any left to check! ). It might be worth asking your pharmacist if they have any similar products though.

I've also heard great things about the Moogoo products, especially for mainitaining clear skin once you've knocked the problem on the head. I'm planning to get some of their products for bub #2 since we had such trouble with DD's skin.
    He (29), Me (27) and DD (1) make 3!

I use Apricot Kernel Oil as an All over body moisturiser.
Being that it is coming into cool weather and DD is prone to dry skin, I give her a massage with it after every bath (she usually has 2 per day due to very messy BLW). I coat every inch of her body (including her face). It's wonderful and it's all natural containing no nasties.
I also use it to remove her cradle cap
