    Default Rolling - what age?

DS is 4 months this week & is showing no signs of rolling. I'm not concerned or worried at all, but just wondered at what age your child/ren started to roll or show signs of rolling

They generally roll from tummy to back first don't they?

I 'think' about 5 months. He rolled from back to tummy first (and would cry cause he couldn't roll onto his back again).

he will go from back to side to grab things, but not back to front. MCHN told me that some bubs crawl b4 rolling- but im not sure i believe her.

My son rolled from tummy to back fairly early, can't remember exactly when, and back to front at 4 months.

My daughter is 4 months now, and though she can roll tummy to back, she hasn't shown much interest in rolling the other way yet.

They usually roll front to back first as i guess it's easier to push off with an arm than using all the muscles involved in wriggling around from their backs. But then some bubs hate being on their tummies. Depends

    DD1, 4 months (17 weeks).

DD2, Both ways at 13 weeks (3 months). But then, she has some vision problems and can't see very well so I think she is probably focusing on different skills instead.

Tummy to back at 7 weeks, but I think his big nappies helped him there lol. Back to tummy, 4 times at 4 months (he's 4.5 months now). He hasn't done it anymore since that one day where he got over-enthusiastic about it

But the fact that he CAN do it, makes me keep a hand on him at all times now when changing him.
