Default Dr Das City Fertility Anyone?

I urge all IVF patients to have a look and see if there doctor has restrictions, complaints and where they went to Uni?

    Dr Das at City Fertility Clinic is this link for example;
    http://www.medicalboard.qld.gov.au/p...?Reg_No=962103

Knowing as much about your Dr and FS and Clinic may save time, tears and allow you to feel that you have made the right choice for you!

Take the time to ask questions until you are satisfied that you will recieve the level of care you are happy to have.

It is most likely he migrated to Australia with a foreign degree, and didn't go through internship training in Australia, instead went straight into specialist registration. Note that he doesn't have general registration, whereas a local graduate or someone who has passed the AMC exam would have both general and specialist registration.

You can check any doctor under the public register search. For interest sake, if you check the FS who had a relation with a patient some years back, there is currently no special condition imposed on him.

I note your comments. People are very vunerable who enter into IVF with many different things to contend with.

There is a need for all parties to be honest and open in thier dealings with each other so that appropriate decisions can be made. The FS I am sure you are talking about went into the public domain via the media where people were able to make a decision to go one way or the other.

People should be more aware and look on the wall for their FS's quals and compare them to what is placed public medical register on the internet.

The main reason I went looking is that I had concerns with regard to analysis of my situation.

I have heard good things about this dr. I agree, it's probably an immigration issue, as he did his degree overseas. I had a look, and noted no disciplinary issues.

Hearing and experiencing are TWO different things!

    * Taking multiple phonecalls in a 45 min meeting about house renos

    * Not referring to your file and talking about a TOTALLY different protocol for 30 mins in that same meeting until I questioned the meds

    * chopping and changing things without due explination in mid cycle

*sugessting bloods and then not following up with them or even referring to them until questioned what those results were

    * a degree from Papua New Guniea is omitted on his wall - WHY?

If I have breached the codes of this forum feel free to deleat it!

I urge anyone looking into IVF to research their specialist carefully. I think I have made my point fairly clear on this post. I now have gorgeous b/g twins and have moved forward in my journey. I did not achieve a pregnancy at CFC or with the eggs that were frozen from the cycles I had there. I moved to a clinic across the road and it was the best decision. IVF was a very stressful process for me and this burden was eased immensely by moving clinics and specialists. I will be forever grateful to my Dr and his staff. I am more than happy to share my success and fertility specialist with you via a message. Good luck on your journey, may it be short and sweet.

    ,

    Still the same in 2014.

do not referring file. Every month I have to remind him my case history.
    changing things without due explanation
suggesting URGENT bloodtest and you have to follow about result.
