Hi,

I live in Victoria and we have been trying for a baby for 6 years. I have a medical condition which means carrying a baby would be too risky. We have applied for international adoption (which we would be really happy to do) but have been told the waiting period is up to 8 years, and I'm now in my early 40's! I am considering surrogacy. We would need to find a surrogate here, although it seems like such a big ask, or possibly going overseas. I have investigated o/s's costs and at the moment would probably be too expensive, although we are willing to explore all options. I would really appreciate any information or personal experience that anyone can give.
