Sex during pregnancy

At the moment i am 22 weeks - happy as larry. Howver when it comes to the bedroom, My body cannot function. It does not want to sex. My head does. But my body does not. I hope this is making sense to someone haha. I dont feel sexy and think this maybe why my body is a lil out of it. Maybe because i cannot manouvre now like i could before. I dont know.. Its incredibly frustrating and I feel like i am letting my DP down

Please be gentle when replying as this is incredibly embarassing !

Has this happened to anyone else??

I was a little bit the same... and I think its perfectly normal...

For the first 13 weeks, I didn't want it all... my head didn't want it and my body didn't want it... For the next 13 weeks, I sorta wanted it, but my head wanted it more than my body... and then...

For the last 13 weeks, I couldn't get ENOUGH!!!

And on the weekend (Easter), we DTD for the first time in 10 weeks...

Don't worry too much and I'm sure your DP understands (as much as a male can)! It is all worth it in the end!

Oh yes

I think the awkwardness of it all puts me off it now.. I'm 34 weeks and there's only certain positions you can do it in these days! I try and maintain once per week (I'm still working so weekends I'm not as tired!) DH understands - he's good like that, and even though I have the guilts ... he knows it's only temporary!

Everyone is different, im sure ur DP understands. Sometimes ur libido goes and comes back later in PG...lol..not for me...so dont be embarrased.

Im 37 weeks and cant remember when we dtd last

thank god my DF is working long hours and too tired anyway
