Question Eye twitch is driving me insane!

My right eye twitches on and off all day. It's not huge, I doubt people would notice if they were talking to me. But it annoys the bejesus out of me!

It's been happening for about 10 days now.

I'm no more stressed than usual. (However my sleep has been shortened again, thanks to my darling children)

I'm healthy, and drink plenty during the day.

I haven't had an eye check up since... well... ever? But I don't get headaches when reading or watching tv?

What causes a blessed eye twitch, and how can I stop it???

I think twitches are caused by some sort of deficiency, I want to say magnesium but I could be wrong.

If its a re-occuring thing you could try Botox. Apparently its been sucessful with relieving eye twitches (amongst other things).

    They're so annoying aren't they!

I think the three main factors are dehydration. and magnesium and/or potassium deficiency. Eat a banana and some pumpkin seeds?

Actually... I think you're on something here.... I had half a banana after tea... and now upon reflection... I haven't had a twitch since!

    Awesome!!

    *off to have another banana*

A banana... it's that easy??? I get them every now and then to the point where they are sooooo distracting! At least now I have a tool to try!
