Need help with numbers

I can't believe I didn't think to ask here earlier.

I am in desperate need of some advice, I have no idea what can help.

The problem is that since I was a child every house that I have lived in that had something to do with the number 4 has been unlucky and bad things just always seem to happen, and when I compare it to houses I have lived in that don't have anything to do with the number 4 things have been good.

I am looking at moving and have fallen in love with a house. The problem is that it is number 48.

How can I make 4 a lucky number for me? Are there things I can do to the house or someone I can get to do things to the house to make it a positive place for me? I really love this house and want to put my application in tomorrow.

The house is number 48 4+8=12 1+2=3
This house is a 3 house not a 4 house.

For some cultures, the presence of 4 in a number is enough and adding it to another number does not alter its presence.

For some Asians (ie Chinese, Vietnamese), the number 4 is a symbol of death and is avoided in place names, house numbers, phone numbers etc.
