Hi,

DS1 is 4 weeks old today and have up till now had no issues with breast feeding.

About 4 days ago I felt a lump in my right breast so I began massage and hot compresses and the lump has gone away.

But now my milk supply in my right breast has diminished. I am absolutely devastated. I am a size E left breast and I think the right one has probably decreased to a large size C.
Whats going on? Can I get my milk back?

I've tried expressing and can only get about 5ml out of the right one, (and about 50 from the left). I'm expressing between feeds and offering the right b00b first to try and stimulate production but thus far it isnt working.

I've called the ABA hotline and they gave me the same advice as I already knew about. (Dont get me wrong they were lovely but didnt really tell me anything I didnt already know).

Im really upset over this. I know that my b00bs werent the same size and I dont expect them to be but to know the supply has dried up is devastating.

Someone told me to eat fennel/fennel seeds so I'm going to make some camomile tea with fennel seeds in it and see if that increases my supply.

Please someone give me some help, even if its an old wives tale etc etc Ill try anything just to get my supply back up.
