how is an honour killing meant to be good for your family? where is the honour in it? 16yrs old, of coarse she would talk to boys, what 16yr old wouldnt? really makes me glad i am not from such a country where things like honour killings are done and that my family dont believe in any such thing

When I worked for A.I., we were documenting cases like this all the time...it is so common, that it makes you heartsick.
We interviewed someone from a country where stoning to death was a common practise for adulterers....Men are buried waist deep, women neck deep. He rationalised that a woman's death would be quicker as she could not defend herself against the blows..but in reality, if a person can escape the hole, legally, they are meant to be freed. You can imagine how much harder it would be for a woman to escape, buried so much deeper.
