Default How do you clean your pram?

    Hi All

Just a quick one really, I bought a new P & T double only a few months ago and I really want to keep it nice and tidy since it cost so much!!

How do you clean up your pram? I spot clean parts but I'm now noticing coffee (my fault!!!) and other bits and pieces all over it including something which has been dropped by DD1 and seems to have melted nicely into the corner of her seat!

Can I take it to the dry cleaners for them to have a look at (I know I'm anal) does anyone else do this?

It's not that i'm a clean freak (much ) but I just want to keep the pram in near new condition.

    Any tips?

I have a P&T sport and I just take it out the back and hose it down! I use a bucket with some mild soapy water in it and a soft brush to clean the really grubby parts, but yeah, thats all I do. Make sure you dry it in the shade though so it doesnt fade.

p.s. Mine is 2 yrs old now and still looks new too.

I have one of those dish scrubbers that have washing liquid inside it. I have a head for prams (or other random things) I take it out onto the balcony, hose it, scrub the spots (like coffee spills and banana stains inside the pram) and then hose it off and it comes up as good as new

Oh Chesby and Kar FOR SHAME!!! Ha ha.

To be honest, I never cleaned my old single pram but I didn't need to. As DD1 gets older it gets grubbier!

Thank you Shell and Angroc, seems pretty simple when you think about it doesn't it??! Off I go into the garden, Rosie will love helping me hose it down (and everything else ).

Sometime we just need the obvious pointed out don't we - hee hee!?
