    Default Highchair

I would like to get a new highchair (or one off ebay) as I dont like my Infa Chipolini (sp) one. It was an impulse buy and I didnt research first.
I find the seat to 'deep' and hard to wheel around the kitchen. Otherwise it has the features I want.
    - for 6m+
    - Height adjust
    - easy to clean

I would also like to be able to have it up against the kitchen table later on.

    Pls recommend one!!

hi i have a fisher price small travel high chair, it straps onto one of our dining chairs. I like it that its so easy to clean and i can take it places. I also have a big one that is height adjustable, on wheels and fairly easy to clean. Its from toys r us and its a portabebe one. It has a black padded seat that wipes clean easily. you can take it all apart every once in awhile to give it a really good clean. I got it on special for about $100-.

Ikea antilop. Cheap, easy to clean. Not adjustable though. Pushes up to the table really well.

The Peg Perego Prima Pappa is great, the Australian Baby Whisperer who is always on Sunrise recommends it and I think she's awesome and will buy anything she tells me to! They are expensive but you can pick one up on ebay pretty cheap. I bought one last week on ebay for $50 and I really like it, the seat goes up and down easily, it reclines and the tray is removable so you can pull it up to the table.

Ive one like this i bought from ebay
i tell you it is the one item Ive bought for my kids that i don't regret buying or have any envy for a flasher newer trendier model
you can use it as a high chair a low chair push it in at the table so they can sit with you then it turn in to a little table and chair for playing Lego/craft/play dough
as for cleaning once a week i take it out doors and hose it down give the seat cover a bit of spray and wipe and after 3 years its like new!

Ikea antilop beats all the others by far. I have a friend who has one with padding in it I think its a steelcraft messina and she Hates it because she hates cleaning the lining and says food gets so stuck in it easily.

I know a mum with twins who hates her chairs as well they are also padded. I think they are a target brand and they weigh a ton!! She hates cleaning hers too and Ive seen how messy her kids get.

No nooks and crannies in my ikea antilop. I just take the tray off and push the chair closer to the table for DD2 who will be 3 in april. She still fits in it quite easily. Theyre under $50 I think and you need to buy a cushion for them seperately another $10 roughly. We never used the cushion. Its no wonder you see so many of these at restaurants. Its very stable too and so lightweight. They make so many crazy colours these days and retain their value as people are always bidding on them on ebay. very popular. I got mine after all the great reviews from BH'bers here and on australias product review site.

Only problem with the idea antilop is that it isn't really suitable for bubs until they can sit up unaided so if you want to use a high chair prior to that you really need one that reclines a little to make it more comfy.

Another vote for the Ikea Antilop here. There is no better high chair IMO
