I wonder if people thought I was cruel when my dd had a small chips, and then ate a bannana, but only saw her eat the bananna.

Oh but awhile ago on here, I was being blasted for feeding my dd maccas at all, saying I was making her obese and yet if I went to maccas and gave her a carrot, I'd get judged for that too. Can't bloody win.
Nope its never ending Should know by now as parents we cant do anything right these days. Next thing will be if you let your child sleep longer than 2 hours at a time you will be damaging their learning ability

The woman is a genius. Really. I'm filing this in my list of things to do when my son is a bit older.

she can enjoy her latte and free wifi, and her children their carrots and free play equipment. Sounds like a good time was had by all.

And it obviously wasn't lunch time as she was just having a coffee. It was probably snacktime, and a snack is a carrot.

And it's hard to find child-friendly cafes. I went to an indoor play centre recently. It was expensive and hot and window-less.

And I wouldn't have peeled the carrot either. Life's too short to peel carrots, I say.

I give DD whole unpeeled carrots to much on regularly.

Scrub them in cold water - gets rid of the germs and chemicals - but the skin (or very close to the skin) contains most of the nutrients. Same with most veges.

I don't cut it up cos she doesn't need it cut.

Maybe the kids are getting bad eye sight and they say carrots help you see in the dark! Now if the kids were munching on an onion that would be different!
