Undecided on this one. Probably because I would personally rather eat the unpeeled horse carrot than the stuff McDonald's serves up...

    Wow, can't win, eh?

I'd rather my kid eat a carrot, then Maccas ca-rap.

And kids are weird little creatures, maybe they only eat carrots whole (yanno, like Bugs Bunny ). My son will only eat a banana if the skin is peeled down, but not off (like a monkey, he says). Maybe she didn't want to take the carrot to Maccas, and when they insisted, she told them they had to eat it all then?

Maybe they had food allergies, or intolerances to all of the preservatives and additives Maccas is full of? Besides some kids actually choose vegetables over everything else. My nephew eats all of his vegetables before anything else, and asks for steamed veges for after school snack.....

    How does anybody really know??

    It wouldn't bother me.
Maybe the kids had allergies and couldn't eat the maccas cr@p??

Nothing wrong with eating an unpeeled carrot - WTF is a 'horse carrot' though??

I'm sure maccas only have the WIFI to lure in more $$$$$$$$$...!!!

Funny stuff. Sounds like something my family would have done. My nana used to send us to the movies with egg sandwiches and apples. As soon as she left we would buy junk food and throw away the apples. Once my cousin rolled hers under the seat and a little boy picked it up and started eating it.

This kind of stuff is character building and makes for an interesting child hood.

I just thought it was weird that they were sharing a single carrot (as i understood it) - they could have been given their own carrot to eat.

I think it's more the point of why take them to macca's if they cant/wont/aren't allowed to eat the food there?
