Info needed for Calmbirth

I live in SE QLd and cant find any practitioners for calm birth. I really want info on it and would love any mums who could give me some info or techniques on calm birth.

I am really interested and have read from so many people the benefits.

Kandy - there is a birth pain management forum where they are discussing about calmbirth. They might be able to help you there

I had DD with the NHS in the UK and no calmbirthing classes were readily available in the area where we were living. I ordered "hypnobirthing the mongan method" through the internet. It comes with a relaxation and birht rehearsal CD.

Unfortunately, my labour went on for too long (went in at 5cm, and got through 4 shifts of midwives before DD was born - needed an epidural and ventouse in the end). But calmbirthing has worked for others - go the the birth pain management forum and have a browse
