Bekk, wow a canon 50D that's awesome! Such a great camera. I I just got a Nikon D90, but I am used to the canons so it's taking some getting used to. I am looking forward to knowing how to use it properly!

I am excited for everyone! I haven't had to test since last year as we were told we can't have a baby naturally, IVF really takes the excitemnt out of it

Although I have never had a BFP, first response are said to be the best, they detect pretty low HCG levels so they can tell the earliest...or so it is said.

MRJB: I totally agree about needing to learn how to use it! haha, i'm the same. I hope IVF gets you ur BFP!!

On the box of the first response tests it says it can detect HCG up to 5 days before AF is due, but it is only right about 53% of the time, but you can test about 3/2 days before with about 75% accuracy. (when i went shopping they were the best price too)

    ok ladies!
well cycle day 31 and used "pregnosis" brand test as there was no "first response" brand. I figure they must be all the same anyway...

    BFN!

Ohwell, there is always next month, at least the FS thinks I O'd.

    No Aunt Flo yet....

I reckon she'll be here tomorrow.

I'm sorry sofiep... bummer!! I hope you get your BFP soon!! It's a tricky rollercoaster. I haven't had to test yet so i'm really hoping i don't set myself up too much!!

How many of you plan to find out the sex of your baby and did you for previous babies?

I don't want to find out for the first. I figure at the least it'll help me handle/get through labour to know there is a suprise at the end of the rainbow.

I agree Bekk, I'm leaning towards not finding out the sex. But then again, I'm very curious by nature, so I don't think I could handle not knowing! :-)

I know what you mean Veryclucky. I am such a curious person by nature. it is going to kill me!!! But wanting to find out doesn't yet out weigh the want for a suprise for our first. Plus I've always wanted a suprise once.. so i figure it'll be easiest to have a suprise for the first one as we wont allready have baby stuff for one gender. If that makes sense.
