Hello Im a newbie to this site.
Im 24, husband is 32. We are TTC, have been since Sep 09. Got married in Nov 09.
Dh has a son to his first fiancee. SS is 7.

Since Sep 09 I'd only had 2 periods. I'd been on the pill for 7 years.

Just completed first round of clomid. CD22 showed that I ovulated with a progesterone blood test.
I am experiencing all types of side effects on this medication.

We have our first appointment with Another FS, my husband only spends 30% of the year with me as he works on a mine. We both really really want kids, cant imagine lift without them!

Anyways! At least Clomid worked this round. Waiting for AF to arrive so I can see how many days in cycle.

    Hi Ladies,

I have only just found this thread; it's exactly what I have been looking for as I have been having a hard time lately with people judging me for wanting kids so early.

DP and I start IVF in August so it's hard enough without people making age comments.

I hope many people on here have had really good support around them!

We have a house and I have a degree so I have 'set myself up' so to speak and now I want kids more than anything. But somehow it has become a less than admirable choice to be a stay at home mum at a young age.

Negative comments aside, so many people are happy for us and supportive. It will be good to come here and chat as I don't have any peers in the same boat as me!

    Hi Bekk!

How exciting for you! I am trying to think of ways to stay occupied also.

Iam a hobby photographer, doing a course at uni next semester to keep me even more occupied, though I said I would never go back again haha.

It's great fun, you can join some groups on facebook and they have weekly assignments and stuff. Good way to pass the time!

    Good luck

    Hi mjrb,
I found our fertility specialist judged me because of my age too. Then a few months went by and I got sent back to him and he started to take me seriously.
There is nothing wrong with wanting kids at our age. Im 24 and my Mum is 50. I live our age gap.
I dont want to be 50 with a 10 year old.
    But thats just me.

Im in the two week wait as well.

Its CD30 (i dont know how many days in my cycle as this is the 1st cycle I have ovulated in years)
So yeah CD 30 no period and one BFN.

    Will keep waiting.

    Default New to TTC

Hi! I'm 25 and me and DH - also 25 are just starting TTC #1. All very exciting. Already frustrated by the two week wait etc. Definitely feeling the clock ticking.

VeryClucky: Welcome to this thread. Congrats on starting ttc #1. I am also in my first two week wait for ttc #1. It's so exciting!! I'm 23 and DH is 28. I have my fingers crossed for you. What day can you test? I'll be testing on the 19th.

I haven't told DH i'll be testing on the 19th because i want it to be a total suprise. He has such great self control so he wont bug me, he'll just wait til i tell him. EXCITING. Note to self: The more excited i get, the harder i could fall...

MRJB: I also like photography. I haven't done any courses or anything but a couple months ago i bought a canon 50D. It's awesome!!... If only i knew how to use it properly. haha The photos are fantastic. So sharp and crystal clear!

SOFIEP: Good luck with your BFP!!! It's great that you know have/can O!

Good luck every one for this month!!!
