I wouldnt last doing admin! My sister does it, and oh it would drive me nuts.

Hopefully you get the photobook fixed soon. Dp is getting a little keyring off DS, that says my dad is superman. Cute as. And I am hoping to get SS to paint a photo frame that will have a photo of them together in it. But it is looking like he wont be here tomorrow, his mum isnt answering the phone so it looks like she intends on keeping him from DP on fathers day. Shame for both of them.

I am in Blue mountains, twenty minutes from penrith. How about you? I know you said Sydney, but thats a pretty wide coverage!

No response from Big W yet so I showed him the book online and went "This is what you're gonna get" LOL

I'm in the Camden/Campbelltown area. Just moved here when I got married 2 years ago, and before that I was in Bossley Park (Fairfield area). I'm still getting used to living in this area and I think a part of me will always miss my old area but this is where the nice houses for the right prices are!

That keyring sounds so cute. I gave DH the mug that I got made with little miss's photo and "Daddy's princess" written on the other side. He loves it. He said he can't wait to use it for coffee time at work tomorrow

How did your day end up playing out? As always, little miss through a spanner in the works of my plans so DH ended up cooking part of the special lunch that I had planned as I was looking after the bub. It's pretty ironic that the child is the reason I am doing the work in the first place, however she also kept me from it! I am glad to do it, don't get me wrong...but sometimes it's a little frustrating.

Is your little bub sleeping in your room or his own? I secretly can't wait until the cold weather is over so DD can sleep in her own room (save running 2 heaters) as I'm hanging to be able to go to bed without tip-toeing into my own bed and being scared and ruffling the covers too loudly!

Atleast he has seen a photo of what it is! lol

So you own your place do you? There are some nice houses down there. No way we will ever be able to afford to lbuy here, waaaay too expensive. I can dream. At the moment its perfect for us though, we are around halfway between my sons dads place, and my step-sons mums place, so it makes pickups and drop offs alot easier. We are getting married at the end of november, its coming up so fast!

SS came down for dinner, we had to email his mum to finally get her attention but atleast they got to spend the night together and have breakfast in bed. So happy for them

My DP ended up having to finish daddys day dinner for me due to screaming baby. Ridiculous huh? That we would have time to do it if we didnt have kids, but without kids we wouldnt do it in the first place!

Not yet, I was going to start him off on day sleeps soon but I want a new mattress for the cot, because we got it off MIL and its secondhand, had mould on it that she cleaned off with mould remover spray, and it now smells like stale smoke from sitting in her house for ages. So yeah, I just cant bring myself to use it.

We don't own our place yet but we're getting there (mortgage).

Wow weddings...ah such fun! Are you having a big do or just something small? We had a nightmare :S Well everyone else involved liked it but to me it was just way too much fuss and the best part of the whole thing was driving away married. But that's just me, I hate fussing for me. I don't mind fussing over others though!

Glad to hear your SS came over for dinner etc. My parents are split up almost 6 years now and mum's just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel regarding my kid brothers. My poor dad was trying but there's just too much hurt between them. Silly people need to start acting like grown ups (my parents I mean!)

Ich about that old mattress...sounds like a right old state! When I was pg, someone gave us a bassinet which was very nice but the mattress had all these funny stains on it. So I chucked that and replaced it with a new one. With that though, it's only a piece of foam from Clark Rubber so not very costly. Hope you manage to find a new cot mattress at the right price...

We are having a smallish wedding, 65 people, 50 of those are adults. Nothing fancy, a fgriend is doing my hair, we are having a picnic/buffet style lunch. I dont like much fuss either. I am not even having an aisle because I dont want to walk own and have everyone staring at me.

Oh yeah, there is so much drama involved in stepfamilys! Its crazy. And I think his mum might be pregnant again, so only time will tell. DP isnt too happy about that, because there is no way they will all fit in that house (two adults, four boys, three tiny bedrooms) especially not if another baby comes along, meaning she will want to move further away. Its really hard for everyone involved trying to consider the other parent and family.

I am looking at about 100 for the mattress, not too bad. I am glad he still fits in the bassinett, so I dont have to panic, just yet! I might even try minchinbury because I am pretty sure they have a clearance place out there?

I am about to start my first christmas layby! Clothes for the boys. Yay! It wont be much this year because they are coming on our 'familymoon', and we would rather spend money on that! What are your plans for your girls first christmas?

Oh my goodness, I had forgotten about this thread until I got an email before informing me of a reply.

Sorry for being so slack. How is everyone?

I am done with uni now until February, so just focusing on trying to find some solutions for DS behaviour issues which have arisen in the last week or so. As well as that we are getting stuck into toilet training, next monday signifies day one of undies (scary!).

I am also a bridesmaid on saturday for one of my closest friends, actually she will be the first of my friends to get married so it's really exciting, although brings home how alone I am.

And another of my friends is due on the 9th, and then my third best friend just informed me she is pregnant. I feel like everyone's lives are moving ahead in leaps and bounds, everyone's except for mine.

Anyways, enough of a whinge. I promise to get back in here more often.
