    Default Swollen Vagina

Yep I have one...lol Can anyone tell me why and if its normal. I am 12 weeks pregnant. It feels like my insides are on the outside, like vaginal hemorrhoids. I dunno but it doesn't feel right. Its achy too. Never had it before when pregnant with the other kids.

Sounds gross but sometimes I feel like my insides are gonna full out there and when I have a feel I can feel the bulk sitting just in my opening. Then it will go away.

Might just be the wait of bubs pushing down there.

It can be normal, there is an increase of blood flow through the area which causes a temperature rise and swelling.

Get it checked out for varicose veins just in case. Swelling can also be a sympton of thrush which is common in pg to but unless you have other symptons like itching it probably isnt that.

Try putting a ice pack in your nickers to relieve it a bit.

I got that with the twins too. I was horrified, as I'd never had anything like it in the other 2 pregnancies. Everything was swollen and red/purplish and yeah it got kinda achish as (TMI warning) it felt like they were rubbing together the more I walked during the day. The good news....all gone now that bubs are out!

I hear someone suggest that wearing 2 pairs of undies can help...extra support! Another thing I heard when it gets really bad (at the end of a day when you are on your feet all day) is to pop a bit of water onto a pad, then freeze it. Mine never got that bad, as I sat on my *** all day!

Oh I hear you! I get that too, its pretty uncomfortable, I havent thought much of it though, just heard that all the extra blood flow can cause it.

I try to sit down more when its happening. Cant wait to have my body back to myself haha

ive had same here, didnt think much of it as assumed its the extra blood flow etc... one thing i read in one of my books is to sleep at night with no underwear on (if its comfy for you). it helps area to breath or something? maybe cool down on its own freely? haha i dunno haha.

munchkin number one on the way!
