hey all, finally home with our little one.
Kara Rose was born on 16th Feb at 4.13pm. My waters were broken at 8ish and bout 3 they decided that I'd probably need a helping hand so KR was born with the help of forceps.
had a bit of a tear so had to have stitches - if we decided to have another I swear I'll ask for an epi.
Had to spend a few extra days in hospital as bub had lost a bit too much weight due to not eating properly (who knew BF would b so difficult) but she put on 134g overnight so they were happy to let me come home today.
Will be uploading some pics shortly.

Congrats to u Floss & hope u are enjoying ur little one as much as I am mine.

    CONGRATULATION NIGHTWOLF

Love the name - SIL is Kara and my baby had Rose as her middle name too!
Breastfeeding does take ALOT of practise and can be very frustrating at times... but if you persist you will both get the hang of it and you will be fine! Congratulations again!

Poppet - Nice to see you back here!
YAH for Aspen walking!!!! You wouldnt no what to do with yourself having one at kindy now!!

AFU - Not alot to report here - had to say Goodbye to one of my best friends last night (she is off to Qld for uni) which was very sad.
Zailee is STILL not sleeping - had the parenting centre come down on Thursday to help - they were lovely and i highly reccomend them to everyone!!! (they are located in newtown and its a free service, can help with ANY issues you are facing) anyways turns out the reason Z is not sleeping or feeding is because of her little snort - she is having trouble breathing (gets all blocked up) So because of the trouble we are having with Feeding (pulls off to breathe and then wont reattach and we have a war... lol) she is struggling to put on weight sometime even losing some - so we are off to the ear, nose and throat specialist as soon as they send us an appointment... Just want to get it sorted so i can have some sleep! I am totally exhausted!!!!

Anyways just blabbing on and on... LOL.

Hope everyone is well, look forward to seeing these new littles bubbas pics!

    Morning guys!

Jes - Im here, accounted for... Now you can stop nagging me via email! LOL

    How is everyone going?

Sounds like there is alot of exciting news soon to come! Babies about to come and all!!!

    What else is news?

My life is pretty much the same. Im a bit boring! LOL

George is walking. Oliver is at pre kinder (poor little mite got a cold the first day, now I have it too and feel lousy). How do you stop a grotty little almost 4 yo from blowing snot bubbles all over his hand then touching things?! Ive gone through almost a whole bottle of antibacterial... praying George and Steven dont get sick!

Hoping to be better tomorrow... need to work... need the money!

Also we are off to Melbourne to pick up a camper trailer on Thursday. Thus why im so not looking forward to a sick family. Am really looking forward to a bit of a holiday, catching up with friends, and going to the zoo, etc... dont want us all to have colds!!!!
