    Default Babies Running

    Hi

Just wondering what age your baby started running. We have just noticed our 15 month ole baby running recently. Not running because his legs are moving too fast for his body, but actually running. DH is certain that he's "advanced" and they way "he weaves and turns" means he is going to be a soccer player

But it has gotten me curious, what age do children typically start to run? I've googled but can't find any answers?

    Thanks!

DS has only been running for a few months so maybe 2ish.

    He was jumping before running.

DS has been running for awhile since probably around 13 14 months(but he has to run to either get away from DD or to catch DD!)
for a long time before that he was "running" in that his little legs would pump up and down a million miles and he would lean forward but he did not go any faster then his usual walking speed
    very funny to watch!

i noticed with coop he walked for about 2weeks at 13mths then discovered how to run and the running has never stopped.
i cross all bridges with joy and ease.
the "old" unfolds into wonderful new experiences.

My older 3 all walked at 10 months & were running around 12-13 months.

DS2 (19 months) has the best kick happening & is forever running around kicking his balls. Maybe they can be future socceroos together
