Default What's your nearly 7mth old doing?

I'm just interested to read what other bubs who are just about to turn 7mths are doing.

DS2 only rolls on to his stomach and then makes a cute high pitched whiny noise to let use know he needs to be turned over. He hasn't figured out how to do it yet, though he does do it by a fluke sometimes.

He can't sit on his on either he just falls over. I have tried propping him up by sitting him fwd slightly and putting his hands out the front but he just falls over.

His just stopped being wobbly so I can carry him around with one hand lodged on his butt and his on my hip. Before if I did that he would just fall to the side lol.

His quite happy lying on his back and rolls on to his side to get things.

All bubs are so different and do things at different times.

That high pitched noise/cry they make when they get frustrated and cant do what they want to do is so cute but yet so annoying.

DS is sitting, rolling, can move like a catapilliar, says 3 words, can stand up while leaning against something for a couple of seconds and waves goodbye.

DS has no teeth and no hair and he still wakes every couple of hours at night for a feed, like when he was a newborn.

My boy just turned 7 months old right before xmas and currently he has just started to say his first word "mum". He can roll onto his front and back. He can sit up but with support if I place him there but doesn't sit himself up yet. He can stand, well leaning against something for a little while. He is almost comando crawling, he has the legs going but hasn't figured out that he uses his arms to move too. His hand is always in his mouth while he trys to crawl! He eats solids and doesn't have any teeth yet but I'm sure they're coming. and hooray for me has just started the whole seperation anxiety thing. I have a bad headache these days!

My DD is 6.5 months, she....

rolls tummy to back and back to side but refuses to roll to her tummy

is happy lying on her back "dancing" kicking her legs and waving her arms

she is trying to pull her knees up under her when lying on her tummy but gets frustrated really quickly...lol

sits unsupported (although I wont leave her coz she will still topple over when she is tired)

takes all her weight on her legs and will hold onto the coffee table and support herself

babbles and says "mum" but I dont think she knows who mum is...

squeals, giggles and smiles a lot but gets grumpy when she isn't doing what she wants

All babies develop at different rates. My dd is 6 months old. She can sit unsupported, crawl and has just started pulling herself up and standing when holding onto something. She has no teeth yet

DS just turned 7 months 3 days ago.

He is rolling over and lifting his stomach off the ground and doing a back and forth rocking motion on all fours. He's getting very frustrated. He'll give up and drop onto his stomach, then lift his hands and feet off the ground and whinge until I pick him up or distract him.

He's almost sitting up but still loses his balance.

I can hold him by the hands and he'll stand up for a few seconds.

He's doing a lot of talking. Just things like ma..ma..ma, da..da..da. He doesn't seem to relate it to mum or dad. It's just baby babble.

He's sleeping through the night from 9pm to 7am but he usually starts to stir around 4am so I put the dummy in his mouth and he continues sleeping through till the morning.

He has 2 teeth on the bottom.

He has reflux and still brings up but only a few drops of milk here and there. Still needs a bib at all times but it's way better than it was.

He's finally opening his mouth and eating his solids two times a day.

He's dropped one bottle recently and is having 4 feeds of 210mls a day.

Yeah DS2 won't eat anything I offer him at the moment. Oh well! He still has reflux too and brings up vomit now and then during the day, not as much as he used to.

dd is just over 7 months

She can sit (if i put her there) for ages,
Rolled about 10 times... but not for a few weeks
    360s on her tummy
Cracks the sh*ts on her back
    Has 2 bottom teeth
Can bear weight on her legs, i don't like her doing as my DF had bowed legs as a child
    says 'dada'
eats what ever we give her

I worry that she isn't looking like crawling for awhile and doest roll.. but as every1 has said they are all different
