Default Lots of random heavy vaginal bleeding - wtf?

This past month, my body seems to have bled randomly quite a bit. There was an actual period, but then it's just randomly bled - and not just spotting, quite heavy bleeding that has lasted a few days. I just woke up to a lot of it again - dark in colour and LOTS of it.

Any idea wtf is going on? I've bled more these past few weeks than I HAVEN'T bled... and I really have no idea why. There is no pain with the bleeding (like now, I don't have the same "feeling" I have when I've got my period).

I'm on the pill too, if that helps.
I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!

I'd say it's to do with the pill. Have you vomited recently? If you have then the pill would not be as effective and it would be causing you to spot. However, even without vomiting once you've been on a certain pill for a while it can do weird things to your body, like spotting, mid cycle bleeding etc.
I wouldn't be trusting the pill to keep you from falling pregnant atm.

I'd see a doctor about it. A few hears ago I got my period and it just didn't stop. It had been going on for over 2wks when I finally saw the doctor and I had lost a lot of blood (had no energy, was dizzy etc). They ended up giving me some tablets to stop the bleeding and something else (like I said it was years ago, I remember there was 2 lots of tablets though lol). They put it down to 'unexplained uterine bleeding' after ruling out a miscarriage.
