Hopefully there will be no more venting from me for a while.
I just got home from 6 nights at the mother baby unit at hospital. We were working on feeding and settling the boys.
Both are on the breast now, no more bottles, no more expressing!!! I feel like a free woman. I just hope it stays like this for a while.
My nipples are pretty sore going from no feeds to back to back feeds day and night so im resting them and giving bottles every so often when they get too sore.
Ahhhh the mother baby uint is a life saver, although its nice to be home now.

Jessicana - did I miss your post? How did you end up in the mother/baby unit - you poor things! But from the sounds of it, it's what you all needed. Hope things are a lot smoother for you now and the nipples are settling down - yah for you that your still breastfeeding - that is the best news.

AFM - I'm cracking up at the moment too! Mine have gone from just OK sleepers and most self settlers to a downward spiral of 2/3 hrly wanting to feed overnight and they're almost 7 months old - am exhausted - have an appt with CHN in 2 weeks to maybe get the ball rolling for us to attend our child health sleep centre in Brissy. I have done some form of CC in the past with all the other 3 and it has worked, but the thought of doing 2 is too overwhelming ATM.
Apart from that they're gorgeous and so interactive now...lot's of fun amongst the

BUBS4ME twins have arrived. Riley Nicholas 5pound 14, 46cm long born at 9.07am and Jacob Paul 5pound 8, 49cm born at 9.08am. Both mum and bubs are doing well and her and her husband Nick are very proud.

Hi guys thought I'd just update. My boys are 3 weeks old on Tuesday!! It's already going soooo fast!
Having twins is definately difficult and sleep deprivation is hard but they are so worth it. My new favourite phrase is 'This too shall pass' lol! Good motto to go by I think.

    These are my gorgeous boys
