Default "Happy Chuckers"- when do they outgrow out?

My 6mo DS chucks up, without fail, after every milk feed. Sometimes 3-4 times within an hour of the feed. If he is asleep he chucks up while asleep and then sleeps in it without waking. He never sheds a tear about it so I know it doesn't bother him and his weight gain is fine. Its only 5-20mls max at a time. I spose its cause of my let down or something. He doesn;t do it after a solids feed.

When do babies outgrow this?? Im SO sick of changing his outfit/cleaning bibs 5x a day. We've taken him to an osteopath but it hasn't seemed to help. Is he overfeeding on milk?

I really don't know. I think it's different for each kid. My 7mth old is starting to grow out of it but he'll still chuck occasionally, but you can tell he's chucking less as he's getting older.

My DS has always been a happy chucker, but I would say things have improved dramatically within the last month or so, he is now just over 8 months. He still has bad days, such as today, but I can tell now that if he chucks lots at his first feed of the day it's going to be bad all day, not too sure how that works.

My DD (9 months) stopped chucking about a month ago. She still does the odd little one here and there but not nearly half as much as she used to.

*Most* chuckers have grown out of chucking by 12 months

My 5yo (nearly 6) still has the occassional-for-no-good-reason chuck, but really is was mostly all over by the time she was one-ish

Dd was a happy chucker & now at 13 months she's stopped.
I can't remember when she stopped, but she just started to throw up less & less.

It was funny in a way when she was a happy chucker because my brother was always too scared to hold her.... As soon as he had her in his arms, she would spew on him. lol.

Jasper is 1 year old, and he chucks up some milk probably still once a day, but its usually just a little wet burp more than a projectile vomit - which is what he used to do.

Around 6 months DP and I would go "yay!" and clap our hands whenever bub burped without vomitting milk everywhere - and that was only every 2nd feed he could burp without chucking.

Sometimes its a bit gross, cos he chucks food, but generally he still just burps up some milk - most bubs get over it with solids though.

My DS1 was a happy chucker too. At 6mnths we started seeing a chiro and it helped, but it improved a heap at around 18months. He is 2 1/2 now, and it still happens when he gets excited or has eaten too much.
