Default Botched circ in NZ. Possibly distressing

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/heal...d-circumcision

Just had to share this story. It's very upsetting. I can only imagine what these two poor children, and possibly others had to endure both mentally and physically.

How awfull, at that age it makes you wonder if it was done for medical reasons?

That is just so brutal......Those poor boys, and those poor parents. I doubt they really knew what they were subjecting their sons to. No parent would willingly put their children through such an ordeal.

Both awake and conscious, both given severely inadequate anesthesia, both clearly traumatized. :-(

Those parents make me sick. Their child was distressed and begging not to be left. Not only did they leave, but they left them to be harmed by someone not adequately trained in the procedure. The doctor is guilty of assault and the parents are guilty of neglect.

I totally agree with you Opinionated. I just can not understand how you could leave the room because you can't bare to look at what is happening to your child. Would there be alarm bells ringing somewhere???
